Pastry base:2-3 tablespoons ghee3/4 cup unsalted butter melted1 box phyllo pastry sheets
Custard:1 cup sugar3 large eggs1 tsp vanilla1& 1/4 cups whole milk
Sugar Syrup:1 cup sugar3/4 cup water
3-4 drops lemon juice
1/4 tsp kewra waterFor garnish, rose petals crushed pistachios

Yes, you’re right. It takes takes much sugar🙈
It is influenced by arabic sweets which are too sweet.
Bht meetha nai hojyega agr 2 times suger add krny sy
Jee.. baklava ki tarah iss mey meetha ziada hy.
But if you skip sugar syrup , it won’t taste that good.
My daughter doesn't like sweets that much but she like unique and crispy dishes, kya main cake ko km mitha bhi bna skti hu?
Then you should try crispy version .
Don’t cook the custard before baking.
You can reduce sugar if you want to. But don’t skip sugar syrup on top , it makes it yummy. Reduce the quantity if you like.😊

No, its Phyllo sheets. It is different than puff pastry.

I know that in karachi it is available on Agha’s and Naheed.
You can check it online.
@@CookedbySabeenI checked on Naheed website but as phyllo sheet perishable item. Therefore they don't courier it to other cities
