Is it in neutral.... But I would be concerned with why the test light was dim on a few wires and trace them to figure out why. tho Most likely it's the soulunoid the manual should tell you how to check them. You can also jump the soulunoid to send power to the starter to rule out a bad starter.
Can't use a test light on a solenoid. No power for the light to work. You need a multi meter On the side of the Solenoid should have a plus or minus value for Micro Ferrets. Other then that you can test for continuity But you have to know if the solenoid should test open or closed. Have you tried starting with the clutch lever in? I remember before you had trouble with this. Next I would jump out the kick stand safety switch and clutch safety switch and see what happens.
So there is the main solenoid and a dummy switch 'starter relay'. If you hold a screw driver across the two terminals on the main solenoid the bike should turn over, if it doesn't then you have a problem with the battery. My starter relay went out, and as I'm sure you've found out there is no mention of it anywhere on the wiring diagram or assembly illustration.. meaning no part number. A parts store should have it in stock as a Subaru or Toyota A/C relay. I believe the Part number is 19829
@@TiberiusStorm essentially all of the safety switches run into this switch relay for the starter. It shouldn't really exist, and a lot of people bypass the switch which would cause the bike to be able to start in 1st with the kickstand down and without the clutch pulled in.
@@Broito Oh so it's only being enabled when the bike is in 1st gear and the kickstand is up. I see! But the other Solenoid you were testing is for the Starter??
There are a couple of saftey switches that often fail and IMHO should be eliminated ...one is the neutral switch the other is a clutch switch ...the idea is it wont start unless it is in neutral or the clutch is pulled in...one of those fails? She wont start...easy to bypass
She's running!
Hey what was the solution, my bike is having the same exact problem and i've switched the relay solenoid and still nothing
Why would you make a video like this, post it's running, and not say what fixed it?
@@paulman54 she probably had the kill switch on
She said what the problem was down in other comments
I'm having the same problem with my klr

That sucks and I hope you get your bike fixed. Is there any bike shops that you take it to in San Antonio or can you call AAA?
dino bot Yeah there are shops. Once it's all back together I can bump start it to bypass the starter and we'll see what we can do.
