you could do a row of peas all the way around the Sthrn edge and let them trail out onto the grass if that's not cheating lol

I think radish would be a root crop so not allowed as I’ve already planted spuds in 50%.

Possibly. Not sure it would grow fast enough though before the spuds swamp them.
