If you wanna go deeper, you can also add:
    - Extensions (i.e. sevenths, ninths): take the 1:21 progression as example. If you add some extensions, you'll have: [IVmaj7 - V7 - iii7 - vi]. In the key of C, that would be: Fmaj7 - G7 - Em7 - Am. You can find it in almost every anime intro.
    - Passing chords: chords that are not part of the progression but they help you to get a smooth transition from a chord to another.
    - Chromaticisms: moving step by step to create tension. You can use it as a progression: [vi - bVIaug - I6/4 - #IVm7b5]. In the key of C, that would be: Am - Ab+ - C/G - F#m7b5. You can see the bass note descending step by step. You can use it as transition/passing chords, just like the intro/outro of this very video @ 00:08.
    - Voice leading: pay attention to the melody. Don't be afraid to reshape the chord so it can serve the melody. Not every triad is played in the "1-3-5" form.
