I have followed your career since the beginning. I've blasted your music (loved your extended singles) in my convertible so the whole world can hear it. I love the 80s style sequencers, the energy, and that absolutely fantastic voice you have. Such a beautiful woman with a great personality. Thank you for not retiring, and continuing to make wonderful music. Your new single is awesome! We love it! Kim...we Love YOU!

Yes and it's virtually ALL the ones that are always bloody emblazoned as critical darlings-Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Stevie Nicks, even Sade has, and Kate Bush has been a worry since 2005. While not all albums are same in quality, never have there be bad ones, just a few that disappoint rather over the usual standard, but still ownable. Likewise, I hate the "DD were at their best when all 5 were together at the start". I don't agree at all, many of Duran's greatest works have been done OUTSIDE the 80s, and their weakest ever original album was their 3rd, which many more would admit if they weren't being sheep. Naturally I still own it but it is miles and miles underneath far far better works which are typically universally despised for no good reason ("Liberty", "Pop Trash", "Red Carpet Massacre"). What matters to me is the music, I can't level stupid aimless hate at an album just because the "original 5 aren't there" or it's in to do so because it's not the early 80s any more. I notice critics have been sucking up to DD somewhat since 2015 which is timely but nauseating in its faux worship of a band that never ever took an easy ride nor did things just to stay in with people or the critics, unlike many. I 💜💜💟💟your love for Kim and the "Boys" (geddit) cos I utterly share it. Now, this is some pure pop-rock hit! Been waiting for a new song from Kim for a long time, but this track exceeded my WILDEst expectations. This should be on the radio stations, hands down. I'm waiting for the trance remix.
Kim, This is a wonderful and a meanigful song of you " Trail Of Destruction" which is a lesson to this world to stop the war on innocent people and to stop fake news on every media. Kim , Even your latest songs are best as your 80's songs.

I'm a massive fan of Kim's. My favourite hit by her is "you came" but love her version of "If I can't have you " also and "Never Trust trust a Stranger " and "keep me hanging on". I love this new song. You look amazing and as beautiful as ever..Good luck with the song. Xx
OMG this song is amazing. I have it on constant repeat & it makes me feel happy every time. Kim looks and sounds better than ever. THANk YOU 😘🙏🏻 Love from Switzerland 🇨🇭❤️ Also love “You Came”
tears were pouring down my face about how much i miss the 80's pop scene and then i found this amazing fantastic new track from the wonderful 80's golden icon & immediately i felt the 80's uplifting mood again, Thankyou Kim you've made millions happy again !! 😃♥💖
I know, she takes deliberately years and years between albums. She must record one song every 6 months. And there's only 10 on it after all this wait, and no evidence of any bonus songs made at all. All those years just for10 songs-and I bet they're all 3 minute things as well. What's the betting the album's running 'time' is no longer than her 2006 and 2010 CDs?
Never failed either, unlike most acts copping out somewhere along the way with middling stuff, even if they're usually good. But then some have a better pedigree than others, like Kim and Ricky do.

I just looked at her website and I can't believe all of the fantastic new vinyl releases of the fabulous Kim Wilde catalog that will be released in the upcoming months of 2024. I am a big vinyl collector and it's great to see that vinyl is very much alive in 2024❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
I do love it when Kim expresses her humanitarian side through her songs, we can all relate, but ofc Ricky is one hell of a songwriter/musician/producer, i think this is a great track. i saw Kim, Scarlett & Ricky live in Sunderland xmas time 2023, they were fantastic, kim's voice is still truly awesome so is Scarlett's, i was the very loud guy shouting out at Ricky in the crowd, he is the power behind KIm that's why they make the concerts a family affair i guess.
Simply amazing! So sad, but true! This song has the same strong meaning as "Burn it down!" by Linkin Park ("We're building it up to break it back down. We're building it up to burn it down. We can't wait to burn it to the ground.") I often wonder why people are so blind not to see that all they've created and built in a lifetime, they destroy in few minutes?! We must build something to last, not to be destroyed. Wouldn't it be better this way? ❤ Kim Wilde is one of my favourite singers and she's got a very sensitive and deep soul. This is the message we need. Thank you so much for this precious gift! ❤❤❤
I think this song is aimed at the madmen and their followers, who can destroy in a few days or hours what the silent masses took decades or centuries to build, and History is full of examples like that
Jolie et talentueuse Kim enfin de retour ! Il était temps ! Plus que cinq mois avant la sortie de l'album "Closer" en janvier 2025 ❤ Viva Kim, Ricky and all the family 💟 💟 💟 Et n'oubliez pas de passer par la France ! 🇫🇷
Incredible, so many years after Cambodia, you came et so much more, you're voice is still the same. Closing eyes send me to my teenager ages when I was listening your song on my walkman ! And don't forget Laurent with "Les nuits sans Kim Wilde"...
Pity she doesn't use it more to dig past the top in her back catalogue and make her gigs more special. Setlist hardly ever changes, except the rare times a new album it out so some of the songs have to be done from it. Years later, they are forgotten bar one as the same old 8-10 songs, plus loads of pointless covers are set in 'Stone' again.
Wish those d*ckhead journos that still describe her voice as "petulant, sounds like she's a cold"-even in a complimentary way! This in a world with nasally bleating/barking slagdonna, yelling caterwauling out-of-tune Adeles and Careys and Dions, and autotuned barbies and all the non-entity Swift/Lipa characterless crap out there! Even the old respected ones were often lousy-Annie Lennox over-enunciating and doing stupid vocal theatrics that just made some awful songs or even okay ones real endurance tests or just plain awful, Whitney Houston overdoing the self-samey lousy soppy power ballads to make you sick, Tina Turner howling and yelling her head off, the list goes on. Kim had always had crystalline clear-cut and beautiful vocals, just how you expect a woman to song, but she also has layers to it too, and can vault up there with the best of them, but she's never shouty or strangling notes. As some do say "just cos you can, doesn't mean you should."
I've loved you since the day I first heard Kids In America. You seem to be getting better with every song. You just knocked it out of the park with this one. Keep it up, Kim!
You kidding? She has 'House of Salome'-if such a thing were possible for only 1 song, THIS song is that one song! Then there's 'The Touch', 'Child Come Away', 'Perfect Girl', 'Get Out', and more importantly, a whole host of things like 'Words Fell Down', 'Rain On' and many never made singles..
@@CadanHartleyElliott Kyan is an uber fan here on youtube but is also known for being irritated with how Kids In America overshadowed what they consider other better songs by Kim. I have so many favorites but was mesmerized by You Came and that's what made me a fan even though it just placed one spot outside the Top 40 here in the States. I listen to that song almost every day on the tube.
@@CadanHartleyElliott Will you lot shut the hell up about flaming 'Kids In America'. I'd LOVE to forget it and I deliberately chose to here as, unlike all the ones I mentioned, to say nothing of all the equally cool other ones I DIDN'T MENTION for space, this thing is underwhelming with a half-finished kids-chorus that just peters out and is utterly overrated, containing not too much of what makes a Kim Wilde song at all, it's just hype, really, seriously what are you lot HEARING every time you bang on about this song! Yes, I DO forget it, chance would be a bloody fine thing. More there's no need to remember it. When there's the like of 'You'll Never Be So Wrong', 'Everything We Know', 'Chequered Love' and '2-6-5-8-0' on the album with it, for starters, how flaming cares about that song. Never mind the even BETTER albums that followed! Even the 90s stuff, which, while not classic Kim thanks to its heavily modified 90s soul/MOR pop sound, is STILL superior in the fact it doesn't get the bloody over-attention this one does. F*ck 'kids' in bloody 'merica' or 'Brats in the States' as I can term it. If I wanna care about a song beginning with K, it'll be 'King Of The World' thanks! Jesus, enough already! For all her almost 100 songs made in the 80s, her best and most prolific decade, that truly IS the bottom of the pile. Says it ALL for human race that you pretend to love her yet only base your love on this unremarkable thing!

Now, this is some pure pop-rock hit! Been waiting for a new song from Kim for a long time, but this track exceeded my WILDEst expectations. This should be on the radio stations, hands down. I'm waiting for the trance remix.
Let's hope BBC Radio 2 plays it a couple times a day
Kim, This is a wonderful and a meanigful song of you " Trail Of Destruction" which is a lesson to this world to stop the war on innocent people and to stop fake news on every media. Kim , Even your latest songs are best as your 80's songs.
Her voice! Holy smokes! 🤯❤
wow grew up listening to Kim in the background not my go to music genre but appreciated her voice this is a great track superb lyrics sends a strong message go Kim
THANk YOU 😘🙏🏻 Love from Switzerland 🇨🇭❤️ Also love “You Came”
Absolutely fantastic. Love the song and video. Kim Wilde, you haven't lost the iconic voice and you look amazing xx
I love it.
BTW Voice is still youthful and sounds as fresh as of a girl's!
Wow, awesome! She is going to be 64 in December, that's only a year older than me. We seniors rock!
tears were pouring down my face about how much i miss the 80's pop scene and then i found this amazing fantastic new track from the wonderful 80's golden icon & immediately i felt the 80's uplifting mood again, Thankyou Kim you've made millions happy again !! 😃♥💖
She's back. And it's about time. Banger
Most certainly is.
This woman is legend, we love u kim
Damn...34 years since i bought my first Vinyl from goddess Kim and here we go again...waiting for the same🥰🥰🥰
Queen Kim always delivering hits after hits! Love you from Argentina 🇦🇷🇦🇷
Never failed either, unlike most acts copping out somewhere along the way with middling stuff, even if they're usually good. But then some have a better pedigree than others, like Kim and Ricky do.
Still sounding as awesome as ever. I've loved Kim Wilde since I first heard her in my teens. You came and turned my life around again! Love you Kim!
We go again! still love you Kim Wilde (from my teenage years) damn we were lucky. ❣
Amazing song . Lots of love & respect for the Queen Kim ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤❤❤❤🎶🎶🎶🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹👏👏👏👏
A great new pop song from the ever-lovely Kim Wilde, and addressing the troubles of the world as well. ❤❤
Love from Serbia ❤

finally get to see her live after being a fan for over 40 years and the new stuff is just as good
Same here xx did you do the meet and greet? Xx
Congratilations Kim. ❤ Amazing song. And your voice iş still beautiful.❤
We're still "Kids in America". ❤🔥🇺🇸❤🔥
Everybody live for the music-go-round!!
Wow! Great to hear something new from her after all these years. Her voice is still good! The song and style suits her also.
OMG, heard 5 seconds of this song, and I knew I LOVED it. Kim Wilde thank you for the new music!
Yes, 'The Touch' that we get from hers' incredible. It's just like-well-'SPARKS'!
Brilliant track, gave me goosebumps - how pop music should be.
Simply amazing! So sad, but true!
This song has the same strong meaning as "Burn it down!" by Linkin Park ("We're building it up to break it back down. We're building it up to burn it down. We can't wait to burn it to the ground.")
I often wonder why people are so blind not to see that all they've created and built in a lifetime, they destroy in few minutes?!
We must build something to last, not to be destroyed. Wouldn't it be better this way? ❤
Kim Wilde is one of my favourite singers and she's got a very sensitive and deep soul. This is the message we need. Thank you so much for this precious gift! ❤❤❤
I think this song is aimed at the madmen and their followers, who can destroy in a few days or hours what the silent masses took decades or centuries to build, and History is full of examples like that
@@goldflo91 These mad men are the presidents of many countries. Lots of politicians are toxic and their intent is to destroy people.
Wow, klingt wie früher .... der neue song könnte aus den 80er stammen und passt auch in2024 .... BEST OF - Kim!!!!
Go Kim, give us the Dance Hall feeling 😊. Serious topic combined with dance vibes, great!!!!
Wow, Kim! What an absolutely gorgeous song with such an important message! We very much so needed a song like this in these uncertain times! 😊😊
Je la suis depuis 43 ans (1981) ! ❤
Amazing new music! I just love it, this is classic Kim Wilde with a modern twist. Looking forward to the album ❤
Wow, she's nailing it. Awesome singing. ❤❤❤❤❤
Yes our generation rules!
Love and respect from Portugal. The best song of the year. ❤❤❤❤❤
Kim and Ricki still amazing with that synth pop magic....
....please come to NYC in 2025!
Her voice is still as good as it was in the 80is.. wow what a talent. ❤❤
Great composition, production, sound, lyrics and of course: voice! Thank you so much, KIM!
Looking forward for the whole album "Closer".❤
I've loved you since the day I first heard Kids In America. You seem to be getting better with every song. You just knocked it out of the park with this one. Keep it up, Kim!
Kim's voice hasnt changed a bit. She's still great.
Not bad at all, made me so happy to hear her again, the sound of my childhood
This song is earorgasm ! Absolutely love it❤ 💖😊
Always the one and only. Great song. Thank you.
Absolutely fantastic song!
This up there with Never Trust A Stranger as contender for single of your career!
@kyachdistent1301 Don't forget Kids In America!
@@kyachdistent1301 Okay, fair enough. I'm out of here.
Love Kim voice. Exellent song pure 80`s energy that I love. 😍from Finland
This is absolutely wonderful ❤ a gorgeous melody and you just have to sing along 🥰
Quel plaisir de vous revoir Kim ❤
Toujours aussi belle et quel voix magnifique j'adore !!!!!!!!!
❤
Absolutely love it!! ❤ Kim is still killing it!! 🔥🔥🔥.
How refreshing to hear this killer song from our fabulous Kim Wilde..you nailed it Kim..deserves to be a massage hit❤❤❤❤
Love how the bridge connects the verse to the chorus of this already favourite song ! Really thrilled for this release!
Your voice has changed so much since the 80s, its become so rich ... you are doing your finest work!🥰
Thank you for bringing us back to the 80's !!!!❤😊
I’ve been following Kim since the kids in America video, and have always enjoyed her presence and vocals , it’s been a pleasure to see you still performing quality songs
Another instant classic from Queen Kim!
Love Kim forever! Great new song 2024 🎶
Mrs.Kim Widle !!!❤❤❤

Warsaw Greets Kim too :)
@@KsinDax 😀👍👍👍🇵🇱
She does more HIT songs than anyone else. Not her fault the majority of the world under the crap spell of the madonna slags, Lupa, Adele, Swift etc. and all things in the same naff image and sound.
@@kyachdistent1301It's true.I gnew up on Kim's music. Her songs are a positive part of me.What matter's what's real and staing affter years into the future😀👍👍👍.Pozdrawiam.
Kim Wilde a Pop Legend, with a charismatic voice. Beautiful song, Kim Wilde forever !!! 💘💘💘💘💘
The queen of pop is back...looking and sounding as good as ever...welcome back beautiful lady ❤❤
YES the real QUEEN!
i like Kim but calling her Queen of pop is totally out of any reality....
Queen of Pop? I mean, I love her too but you don’t have to lie. Haha.
As much as I love Kim, that title still belongs to Madonna.
The Queen of Synth Pop?
Gone too long! , but back on top where you belong !!🎉❤🎉
Fantastic track Kim and Ricky, love the promo video and I really hope it climbs the charts and sells well. ❤
There's no charts in the long dead music scene. I'm sure it'll fall foul of what they all do if they're not all the fakes slagdonna, Minogue and so on. But what are so-called sales anyway. Charts never reflect realism, art or quality, apart from with ABBA.
It sounds so good Kim, your brother is a master of synthesizer, mixing and mastering. I also work on two new songs and the hardest part is mixing. Love you Kim and your family forever and ever ❤
Kisses from Croatia! ❤❤❤
Fantastic track. You have amazing vocals. Kim Wilde. Thank you Xx
She's back...wow❤
