I think the maturity of the characters makes this K drama stand out from others . Older characters as less coy with showing affection and they don’t care as much what people think, having been through difficulties in life. So good to see a range of characters now - including those on the autistic spectrum.
The amount of love that I have for this mature love story is boundless! The way Chiyeol bluntly asked Haengseon to spend the night with him and she just understood the assignment, my heart cannot handle this 🥰❤️ Please don't separate them, they are just too perfect😘
I'm really enjoying this series with a much more diverse cast and the main couple being much more mature and grounded. This series so far has exceeded my expectations and the acting is superb even by the younger cast members. The dialog is real and shows the writers of this series are extremely talented. This is how a series should be done.

I love how they made sense of the title 'Crash Course in Romance' though the KR title literal translation was 'Ilta Scandal'. For the 1st half of the drama the major highlight was the potential 'scandal' between the (supposed to be) married woman & the bachelor teacher and the budding angst brought by it but later on after the problem w/ that was resolved it had become literally a crash course in romance. The main leads who grew up w/ so much to take care of on their plates was given the right love at the right time where they can enjoy themselves. They enjoyed each other`s company and basically date each time they could. Literally a crash course in romance for ppl who were late bloomers in love but once they found it they went straight in doing romance w/ lesser hesitation and in a mature way. They basically went from first kiss (from CY's POV) & first night but no one's to complain because they are responsible adults already. Only now i got to appreciate nf's title translation btw 😅
It's realistic the scenes of love story and about life, daily routine are realistic and that's what made this drama an outstanding that i am really hoping for Season 2 plssss
