i was really surprised that for some reason, the scenes weren't as sexual ( and heavy compared to what i usually feel with such scenes) as the extent of the acts they're actually doing, i felt this sort of love and sweetness, plus the cinematography is GREAT, then came to the comments only to find out, that the director is female, yup, now i understand, it's all the magic of female gaze.
OKAY. KOREA IS GETTING MORE CONFIDENT Y'ALL EDIT: lmao of course this gets over 1K. I see we are all drinking in that STEAMY scene. Like bruh, I wanna straddle someone oop

The fact that this is 10000x hotter than west 18+ scenes, the intimacy and chemistry is just out of this world😳 he’s a bright breathing walking red flag yet I find myself blushing at their scenes I can’t I need help- 😩
THIS is realistic The way he put her on his laps and had his hands on the butt, then unbottened bra/trousers, and their positions, all of this WAS REALISTIC And still beautifully executed with the camera angle and that prism effect!! That was sensual as heck Also, just saw the comment saying the director is a woman, and FINALLY WE GOT A WOMAN POINT OF VIEW FINALLY, WE CAN SEE THE ACTOR AS IF WE WERE HER LMAO
See, this is what I thought that the director must’ve been a woman, that this scene could only have been captured by a woman, it’s just too sensual😍😍😍, a man could not have justified this scene..
Yuuup totally agree. In Vincenzo it's also a woman director, and even though they only have the two kissing scenes they're more real rather than the closed lip contact for 5 seconds 🤣 Although Park Shin-woo directed the love scene in "It's ok not to be ok" which was also nice, and he's a man. But definitely this one has the #1 spot. And it was only a dream! Let's see what happens in the next episodes 🤣
See the difference when the director is female. The gaze from which such shots are taken is so essential. Yes this is from Nabis perspective. But even the other scenes that have palpable tension are shot with a taste that feel non predatory. Especially episode 2. The discomfort and resigned face of the women at the bar. The I want to stop you but I can’t because I’ll be branded sensitive. Female gaze is superior. That’s on proof.
I don’t know if it’s superior or if it’s something that is females will enjoy more. This drama is refreshing and somehow lets us vicariously engage ourselves. But I don’t think same will hold true if a man watches it.
IKR, Like when I see steamy scenes, I want them to focus on the guy too, from the female POV, like him looking straight at me. Most western steamy scenes today I feel are just softcore porn, for the benefit of men
@@tyrannasparx I agree with you. But it’s that slight difference that counts. That is not to say this scene does not feel primal in both contexts. But as a woman I’m seeing an intangible change. I can’t lay a finger on it. Also this show is very realistic when it comes to the college experience. The clothing is realistic and the commitment issues are showcased as is. I’m just biased to women don’t mind me 😂
Got butterflies because of this scene 😂😂😂😂 Probably won’t be the last one and probably why the show has a lot to do with butterflies because that’s what you’re going to feel watching it 🦋🦋
Okay but why was this dream scene wayy hotter and better then the actual scene of them getting together the first time. I really appreciate she takes charge and we finally seeing a female lead enjoy sex like FINALLY we get a realistic vibe.

Watching this after my demon ep12 and I’m speechless… ig I have to start watching nevertheless.
You should. Since the breakup in ep 14, it has got me into depression now lol I like nevertheless more than my demon because of their chemistry and no past life stuff like in other dramas including my demon.

i was really surprised that for some reason, the scenes weren't as sexual ( and heavy compared to what i usually feel with such scenes) as the extent of the acts they're actually doing, i felt this sort of love and sweetness, plus the cinematography is GREAT, then came to the comments only to find out, that the director is female, yup, now i understand, it's all the magic of female gaze.
True af ...
I agree...when I discovered that the director was a female...I thought...uh huh...yes...only a female could up with a nice sensual sex scene.
Exactly!!

For real, I was used to see a kiss after 500 episodes not this omg

The way he put her on his laps and had his hands on the butt, then unbottened bra/trousers, and their positions, all of this WAS REALISTIC
And still beautifully executed with the camera angle and that prism effect!!
That was sensual as heck
Also, just saw the comment saying the director is a woman, and FINALLY WE GOT A WOMAN POINT OF VIEW
FINALLY, WE CAN SEE THE ACTOR AS IF WE WERE HER LMAO
See, this is what I thought that the director must’ve been a woman, that this scene could only have been captured by a woman, it’s just too sensual😍😍😍, a man could not have justified this scene..
This makes so much sense! I was literally thinking the amount of skin shown is pretty equal which is so refreshing to see!!
THANK YOU!!!
Hahahaha! Is it really a woman??? Omg, she got it right!😆
Yuuup totally agree. In Vincenzo it's also a woman director, and even though they only have the two kissing scenes they're more real rather than the closed lip contact for 5 seconds 🤣
Although Park Shin-woo directed the love scene in "It's ok not to be ok" which was also nice, and he's a man.

We really have come a long way from that ugly-ass kiss scene in Boys over Flowers and the two-minute lip-pressing merry-go-round in You're Beautiful😂🙏🏼
True. But I like that even though we are getting scenes like this in kdrama, the wholesomeness still remains. While scenes like this are steamy and can get views, I hope kdrama won't be as sexualize as western entertainment so we could focus on the story and direction more ^^

Something that still impresses me is how in these scenes the actress feels nervous, but here you can see that she even enjoys it and they look super comfortable.
This comment Reminds me of the incident with Marlon Brando and Maria Schneider from Last Tango in Paris. That was so sad.
@Isabella T.Osorio "They only told me about it before we had to film the scene and I was so angry. I should have called my agent or had my lawyer come to the set because you can't force someone to do something that isn't in the script, but at the time, I didn't know that. Marlon said to me: 'Maria, don't worry, it's just a movie', but during the scene, even though what Marlon was doing wasn't real, I was crying real tears. I felt humiliated and to be honest, I felt a little raped, both by Marlon and by Bertolucci. After the scene, Marlon didn't console me or apologize. Thankfully, there was just one take."
both of em seem enjoy tho go search the commentary video when sohee ask kang "did u have the same feeling too" and kang answer it yes and kang said in interview that sohee make him comfortable and they have same age that make them more comfortable around eo that's why when do intimate scene seem so natural on screen.

korea's a very conservative country so dramas like this aint and far from the typical and usual kdrama we see, and im here for it.
Yeah they're getting more westernized. There's nothing good about smoking, stupid e-girls/e-boys, hookup culture etc. That's the reason why people watch Asian dramas to avoid this extreme "modernity" of liberals.
@@nskfsr that's true tho, that's why it's for '18 and above' but we all know these dramas could easily be accessed by minors so no more excuses.
