Jeff Loomis = pure energy and aggression when he plays. I love it
backing guitar is so clear and so good
That fucking riff gets me every time.
I love how much Jeff switches his pickups performing this, just to get the right tone.
The rhythm guitar is so good it allows Jeff's star to shine brightly.
jeff loomis = true heavy metal guitarist !!!
yes I agree. Rhythm sections of loomis songs are insane.
Expecting Jeff to make a mistake is like expecting a cat to land on its back. Its not gonna happen. It just wont.
year of the voyager, i think 2008's show...
he makes a little mistake in the solo of godless endeavor,
still IT'S FUCKING AWESOME!
LOOMIS IS GOD :3
But he fucked up right at the beginning, haha so he is atleast 1% human. "I fucked up" "It's alright"
Jeff probably built the pyramids (He is that precise)
I just started listening to Loomis about a week ago, and I feel really ad for not having looked him up sooner. This stuff is awesome.
that fast riff joe is doing while jeff solo's sounds so sick!
Joe played excellently.
Awesome display of 2 guys working together - tight and true
Simply an amazingly gifted, hard working guitarist. His cover video of Jason Becker’s Perpetual Burn is mesmerizing.
go to itunes -> type "jeff loomis shouting" -> play loud
saw these boys live last night and they blew everyone's mind
Man I forgot how great this video is.
Speechless...
THAT RIFF
I remember back in the days, bought a 7th string and try learning this monster riff from this video❤❤❤
Jeff Loomis does make the best Riffs known to man lol
Wonderful playing, by both of you!! Awesome precision as well. Cheers and thank you for the inspiration. Richard from Germany
Awesome!
Very good technique of playing instruments and beautiful song ...!
Jeff’s improv at 4:27 is epic!
Skills to pay the bills!!
Epic!
grande!!!! Jeff Loomis \m/
The riffage for this song is sick as fuck.
Super!!!
MASSIVE
Mestre Jeff 💪
Nice work boys
Prolly because he was 90% of the driving force behind Nevermore.
Honestly the riffing on this one was far better than any solo. Holy dead guy.
Fuck yeah!!!
FUCK! Goddamn goosebumps down my spine! \m/
so...epic O_O
Super Guitaristes...Rock...Onnnnnnn!
Jeff is wearing a kick-ass shirt! SBT!
yes
Fuck yeah 👍

fuck yes
bravo momci!
Love this song. I can spot a Parkway Drive Horizons record in his collection.
i wish i was jeffs rythem guitar player ;(
Nice solar 7
its off his album zero order phase
shouting fire at a funeral
Jeff Loomis Shouting: FUS RO.... at FIRE!
Goofy people that comment about his riffing! He wrote and recorded the rhythm too! To solo out over it, geeeee!
i spy with my little eye a BBE Sonic Maximizer! ...just mentioning since so many people crap on em hard haha
Justin Taylor people crap over anything and everything, good or bad.
Open the gates of the olimpus and lets jeff enter.....he belongs there!!!
i thought so
Why do i always hear title of the song is his playing? Every time i can hear the part that sounds just like words from the name.
Just drugs haha
Holyshit, is that a ZOOM G3 on the desk???
For sure its the rhythm guy's.
Do you play guitar? damn sure the rhythm was good. The solo was just amazing!!! if anything.
Jeff Loomis should work with Kris Norris and form some sort of a super-band all instrumental ofc. I think that would be the most perfect thing in the universe ever! : )
Joe Nurre. Go to his channel and you'll see him using it, I asked him for his preset hahah
The part at 1:20 ish sounds so much like what Marty Friedman would play!
Yes, you can always hear a lot of Friedman influences ( which is a VERY good thing )
is joe playing a solar 7?
indeed, looks quite tricky tough...
Yeah same here I wanna shred some licks over this rhythm guitar!
what? are they really using the POD HD? :0
Who's using the Line 6 Pod HD Pro?
Hey i was wondering if you still like the schecter hellraiser c7 fr s. Was thinking about getting one
How did joe not explode he hen he was sat that close to god? No but seriously this is amazing
If one. That solo fucking kicked more ass then the riff/rhythm.Solo all the way dammit!!!
more importantly, who is using the zoom g3.
are you serious? are you seriously serious? Jeff Loomis makes some of the sickest soundest riffs in the metal industry. Almost every Nevermore song has a amazing sick sounding riff in it. you sir need your ears checked
It's somewhat sad that Nevermore didn't hit the scene a few years later or something. Such a tremendous band with so many great songs and they never got nearly the exposure or recognition they should have. Hell, I'm a metal head and into all kinds of stuff and didn't even know they existed until they were over. Friggin' sad.
Loomis is an amazing riff writer and guitarist.
Jolly Voqar r.i.p. warrel dane...
...it's off of his album Zero Order Phase...read the fucking description for once
is that an old Solar guitar in 2012?
2:06 riff sick
I liked better the rythm guitar part than the solist... The two first riffs are killer!
it must be hard to play guitar :)
He probably thinks that the song also has vocals. Chill
