First of all , my condolences Dora on the Lions loss, I was heart broken for you. Jerry congrats on the Chiefs win. OK, on to the figure, super cool welcome to Star Wars young lady! I love this thing! I bought an old Hasbro Chewbacca and am trying to convert it in to a Sasquatch but the head is rubber hard to do much as far as detailed painting, I will figure it out. A possible way to give the crossbow a blaster look...I use coffee stir sticks to repair GI Joe rifle barrels and make silencers a small piece at the end under the bow with a dab of glue would give it an easy barrel look, just I thought.
I am so happy for Jerry's team. I was so devastated for mine. It's way too raw right now, and my team, and all of the fans, well, I am sure we all are depressed. We really thought this was our year. We just have to focus on next year now, and hope things will still occur in my life time. There's nothing else we can do. The nice thing is that time does heal wounds. It's an old cliche but it doesn't make it any less true. Jerry has said again and again, he loves this figure. It's one of those figures that you look at and go wow. It's tall and the face . . . OMG . . . the face and fur. Of course, I am a sucker for little furry things. LOL Gabriella or little evil is just so fun to watch and as we speak she is distracting me from responding to your wonderful idea regarding the crossbow. Like you, in due time, I will make the crossbow work just like your Sasquatch will come together. I have a feeling when you put your mind to something you will find a way. I don't drink coffee, but I have some metal little things that might work for a barrel. I am not even sure how I got them, but I just need to find them. I think one of them would work, but I have to find them and see. THANK you again. Worse comes to worse, I know tons of folks who drink coffee and can ask to get a stir stick. He looks awesome 👍 Most of the blasters in Star Wars were actually modified replicas of real weapons. If you do a search for Chewbacca blaster prop on Google I am sure that you can find so e reference photos of it so that you can modify that crossbow.
That's a great idea. I know I have to get closer. I will look it up today and see what I can do. I just knew though I wasn't going to pay the price asked and hoped the person would sell cheaper. Even though I asked, I was surprised they did. I am so glad they did. After forcing myself to not stay mobilized, the bandolier came together. Of course, I kind of rested when I put the crossbow in his hands. I had burned off too many brain cells. LOLOL 🤗 🤗 ❤️ 🤗 🤗
