Who knew Anzu would end up as one of the most lovable characters in the show. Damn girl made me cry so much during her story arc. Best girl 10/10

Everyone is about the comedy of this scene but I'm just here amazed by the smoothness of Anzu's animation when she was writhing in pain.

This was one of my favorite shows this year. Stupid humor and meaningful, heartwarming character development neatly wrapped up in a superpower/mob/slice of life anime that just works better than it has any right to. (pretty much the same reason I enjoyed One Punch Man so much)

Young Rody I've seen it and it was great. It didn't quite get the ridiculous but meaningful character development as good as this or one punch though. Still super excited for the next season.

This anime was absolutely amazing. It definitely deserves a season 2. Also did anyone else love the ending song? I thought it was brilliant. Also Anzu best girl.

This was the first thing I've seen of Hinamatsuri. I was so confused back then and very intrigued.
Such a hidden gem, hoping to see second season.
So to sumarise what i have seen:

I feel so bad when Anzu is forced to leave the homeless camp, because they are all being forced to leave. but it makes me so happy that Yassan talked to Utako and was able to find Anzu a home with the Hayashi family who owns the Chinese restaurant "Rairaiken". It just warms my heart and makes me feel so good. 😭😭😭

Reason Hina won was because she already witnessed how impossible is for them to force their face look upside and downside. That's why she aimed for the left or right sides.

That... is one hell of a way to prove a point. And it is THAT way (points left and feels his neck snapping like a twig).
The way Nitta convinced Anzu to play was like Space Jam when the Looney Tunes tricked the aliens into the basketball game. And the results are just as looney.
