    I’m 32 and Iv definitely noticed a difference in my skin from using Elemis collagen products, I would recommend for anyone that is at an age where collagen is starting to slow down. It’s a positive from me!

    I recently start using this product . I got a bunch of sample size facial cream. This product is one out of 4 products that doesn't react to my skin. I love you review, it is very honest. I saw that you have a lot of reviews for other products. What brand do you recommend that doesn't have all bad ingredients in it ?

    • @skincaretactical5501
      @skincaretactical5501  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for sharing Maryuree!! Most products have some bad chemicals, mostly preservatives, color or fragrances. If you are not sensitive to it and your love the product then you should use it. I am only 1 person and 1 opinion. Don't let my reviews persuade you from using something that works great for you. Cheers.

    Do you have a list of the French and Korean products you like better? I would like to try them!

    Elemis is an aromatherapy brand that is sold on cruise ships all across the world. Their audience is that older rich lady, so this is exactly that kind of smell etc. That being said, I’m a 28 year old guy and have never found those products irritating and I like using them. Great review

    lol im 27 and i love the smell!!! i've used up 3-5 jars already. I didn't realize how fragrance is bad for the skin till recently.. I'll probably stop using this cream after my last jar. I liked how it felt though. they sell elemis at ulta and they usually have a set that cost the same as if you bought jar itself.

    • @skincaretactical5501

      All G Capricorn Shawty, if it works for you then keep using it. Skincare is very case by case based and if the fragrance and other ingreds don't bother your face it may not be a big deal for you (fragrance is SUPER bad for folks w/ SENSITIVE skin). My biggest knock on Elemis is the stupid Jar and getting my nasty fingers in there all the time... I prefer PUMPS or toothpaste style TUBES. But yes, love the smell!! Aromatherapy and skincare rolled into one! Thanks SHAWTY for the comment!

    A pump is awful idea you waist so much that gets stuck in the pumps

    • @verovale5029
      @verovale5029 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly! And also in many cases the pumps stop or broke after some uses. I prefer in a jar . Maybe to prevent or lower the oxidation and contamination of the product by opening the big jar many times until it's finished , is to move one part that you will use for two weeks or so in a small glass container.

    • @skincaretactical5501
      @skincaretactical5501  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the feedback! TBH, Ive never had a pump break/fail on me. Stick with products from companies that not only produce a good moisturizer but in a pump that works 100%. Im curious, which moisturizers had the failed pumps?

    I am 38 and I love Elemis , it makes my skin so smooth, I actually have so many sets of Elemis products for all different needs. And none of my product have fungus no sure how you get that really if you use everyday one in the morning and the other night one at nights plus serums you don't really get fungus in your product etc.

    Also, I didn't notice any changes after 2 weeks. I think they advertise that you'll see changes after that time.

      Lots of brands will make staunch claims. Skincare is very sensitive as people are very different and have unique conditions and responses. If it doesn't work, save your money and spend it elsewhere. There are SO MANY products to try if its not your HG (Holy Grail). Keep searching!!

    At 2:42 I have a specific question, did it just come easily opened like that or did you have to kind of hear a click for it to know that it was securely brand new? I have one and I'm not very happy how the packaging came as it looks like it was used...😡

      Hi raspberry and thank you for your comment. What a blessing that you have no issues with fragrances in skincare products. In the United States, roughly 30% of Americans have a sensitivity/allergy towards fragrances.

    Thank you for the honest review. I could not figure out what the big fuss was about this brand. I got it in a boxy charm box and have found it odd. When I found out what it cost I expected to see clinical studies but I haven’t seen any?!

    Hahaha! I got my jar not too long ago, and I just HATE the smell. It legit smells like an old lady going out. I even thought mine was expired for this reason. However, a pea sized amout is not enough for me. I don't find this moisturizer moisurizing at all. Not sure what all the hype is about.

    Great review 😊I'm from the UK and definitely think that this cream is overhyped. I have sensitive skin so I try to stay away from anything with added fragrance

    • @skincaretactical5501
      @skincaretactical5501  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Hazell! Thanks for dropping knowledge on Elemis. Yes, I agree... anyone with sensitive skin should always investigate the ingredient(s) deck. Blessings and be safe amidst Covid-19.
      PS. Whats popular in UK right now? Is K-Beauty a thing?

    • @hazellhernaez
      @hazellhernaez 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@skincaretactical5501 K-Beauty is definitely becoming more popular in the UK. There are always K-beauty pop-ups happening around London, and they're becoming more present at beauty conventions. Always a big crowd when a stand is selling K-Beauty sheet masks! Smaller, niche brands found on beauty sites like LookFantastic and Cult Beauty are definitely where all the hype is at the moment, especially any brands which are eco-friendly. Brands like The Inkey List, Drunk Elephant and Fresh are becoming popular. Pai Skincare has become a recent favourite of mine, though very pricey. Hope you're keeping safe too!

      hey Paul, I need some more info before I can give you some options. but first there are a BUNCH of choices. Its best to start w less and move to more complex ingreds decks just in case you have a skin condition or sensitivity to certain ingredients, ie actives and perfume.

    I think it’s overpriced as well. I used to use all Korean skincare but figured I’d give this a try since I get it at a 40% discount as I’m pro and almost 40. I still incorporate my die hard Korean products but if it wasn’t for my large discount and the specials on QVC, I may think otherwise. I have, however, noticed some good changes in my skin. Not going to lie though, Korean skincare overall was my favorite.

    • @skincaretactical5501
      @skincaretactical5501  4 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @skincaretactical5501
      @skincaretactical5501  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      hi Cyndi. I am not sure exactly if its "floral" but to me smells girly... like flowers or women's perfume. To me it was very apparent and I know some of my patients do not appreciate when clinicians wear cologne/perfume. But, if it works for you, then its the one for you. Great thing is that we are all different and we have different skin types and preferences. Thanks for the feedback. Im curious to hear what other Luxury Moisturizers you use and love?
