Our local Chinese restaurant had to shut down their lunch buffet, which was $7.99, because people would come in and eat 10 or 12 eggrolls at a time. On the menu, eggrolls were $1. So they were losing money big time on just those.

Your pubcast was a great distraction while I had a root canal yesterday and made it almost tolerable, despite the dentist not being able to find the end of the root on the xray (it was less than an inch from from my eye - WTF!?) and then the file breaking when she was in the middle of cleaning the root. If it could go wrong, it did, but you were a wonderful distraction in my ear the whole time! Cheers!

Red Lobster made money on me with the endless shrimp. I took my mother there and we both got endless shrimp, which in FL was well over $20. They do limit how much you get at once. You get three types, and then you get one each time you ask (here in Bradenton, FL), and the waiters hide from you. Anyway, my mother couldn't even finish half of her first one and just shrugged and said she told me before she couldn't eat that much. I'm thinking: Why the hell am I paying twice as much for endless shrimp when you can only eat six pieces, and why didn't it occur to you to get a smaller portion after you stared at the menu for twenty minutes?!? Of course, I just politely suggested she order a smaller portion next time. She just shrugged. I was full after the first three options, but forced myself to eat two more to try to make up for my mother. Never went back. LOL

Omg you are so right… I also am extremely near sighted and that is how we see, all blurred together! Sometimes if I look in the mirror I actually think I look pretty good, then I put my glassses on🤪😝. I remember putting the glasses on the first time… I was totally amazed….my mother said “why didn’t you tell us you couldn’t see”. Well, Mom I didn’t know everyone saw trees with actual leaves on the branches and houses had numbers on them! 🤣🤣
McD is different depending on the country you’re in. We were stationed in South Korea where they offer bulgogi and hot tea. While stationed in northern Italy, the McD menu included wine and birra (beer Kathleen). These menus of course offered the usual fare that a homesick airman could gorge on. I really preferred eating whatever was regional, but my hubby was sooo basic. Lololol🤣🤣🤣
I too would never go on a floating city aka a cruise ship. Although I would enjoy sailing on a catamaran with a qualified captain and crew with a small amount of people, like 8 or less especially if you were onboard. Now that would be something worth selling my house for. And I love your buckey’s outfit!
