- Phyllodes tumor of the breast is an uncommon breast tumor which can affect ladies between the age groups of 25-45 years. It usually presents as a breast lump / mass which grows rapidly.
Phyllodes tumor is not always cancerous and the treatment in most cases does not involve chemotherapy.

Hello doc .... my mom last yr underwent lumpectomy. Bilateral Borderline phyllodes was diagnosed. Is there any possibility of borderline getting converted into malignant. I'm extremely tensed. I'm 3yr mbbs student. Due to all this. I'm unable to focus on my studies. Plz help doc

I removed border line phyllode tumer by local wide excision size is 7*6 and underwent for radiation for 25 days one year back.. is it chance to recurring again sir what should i do for prevention ?

I have mastitis in breast ,I had completed my antibiotics course for 14 days but still not gone completely ,doctors have prescribed for biopsy but whenever I take antibiotics I get relief decrease in size but when I stop taking antibiotics then it grow and cause pain but with no symptoms of redness,nipple discharge, fever is this cancerous bcz I have given sample for biopsy but it will take 10 day , I am depressed so asking u.
My wife have mastisis ,she had taken 14 day antibiotic course but it does not gone completely before taking medication her breast was swalloen but after taking antibiotic its swalloen gone but hard lump like structure get localised doct has priscribed for biopsy.she has pain in lump but no fever,no nipple discharge,no skin rednes,but whenever she take antibiotic its swollen and pain decrease plz suggest me is this a sign of cancer,

I diagnosed for mallignant phyllodes tumor in left breast. have local wide excision surgery and 25 RT (50 gry). Tumor was of size 5.5x6.5x4.3. Completed my treatment in may. Now going for followup on 22nd aug. What are the chances of recurring this? After surgery I am having countinuous pain in affected area itching in sutures. Cant even sleep on that side.
That was a large tumor. It takes some time for such a big defect to heal.
2-4 % chance of recurrence is there

Hello sir. I m 24 years old. In 2022 i had phylloids tumor so doctor suggested surgery after surgery that lump was tested then observed borline so again had surgery. Now recently march 2024 having small lump phylloids recurrence. I want to know why it is coming again please please please tell me😢
