hi, does using cocopeat retains lot of water? Also is there any chance of fungal growth and plant s death.Please explain?
yes cocopeat retains lots of water so you need to mix brick or perlite while making regular potting mix.... See only cocopeat are also used as potting media but in that case you must be verycareful regarding watering, fertiliser & Pesticide doses. In case only cocopeat is used as potting media with frequent & excessive watering it will lead to the death of plant

Avoid cocopeat in succulent soil mix.It batter to use river sand / crasher sand with coco fiber.
A right balance is important between each & every ingrediants.... This mix is really doing great for me and for others who are following... you can also go through my succulent collection video..
