Theres a story within the episode called 'Pain Speedball' where a surgeon gets an implant to feel what the patients are feeling and them he gets addicted to the pain & whatnot. Crazy episode and some crazy medical scenes
They actually don’t make AIDS out to be this huge deal. Part of the episode is about Eric expecting to get special treatment because of his AIDS, only to find out that nobody thinks it’s that big a deal anymore 😂
When my son got his tonsils out, he was excited about the concept of all the Popsicles. I bought 4 boxes of Popsicles and he didn't even want any after his surgery
I remember toast being the best thing ever after getting them out at age 6. The way it scratched the back of my throat was so relieving. I was never promised icecream, popsicles or sweets. I don't think I was fully aware of what they were gong to do, just that I'd have a sore throat.

Even after we started taking it more seriously, this idea of the “gay plague” was still a concept that a lot of people held onto. Research was scarce and it was still a death sentence for most people. Today, while we can’t cure it, we have medicine that allows patients to live much longer lives, greatly lowers the risk of spreading it, and suppresses many of the symptoms. But it’s still not great. If you were to contract HIV, you’re going to be stuck taking medicine that can be very expensive for the rest of your life and there’s still no guarantee that even that will be totally effective. But it’s absolutely better today than it was in the 80’s and 90’s. And hey, on the bright side we’re able to look back on history and learn from it. That’s why we no longer politicize deadly viruses. So protecting yourself is pretty simple - don't do drugs and don't sleep around. People like Cartman who got it from the hospital are very rare - and they can actually sue.

The first vid was from the episode "Good Times with Weapons" where the boys tricked a market salesman into selling them ninja weapons. As they play with the weapons, the boys pretend to be ninjas (which changes the art style to look more anime-esque) and accidentally threw a shurikan into Butters's eye. So, they had to get it out and treat it before their parents find out.
And iirc the vet at the Animal Shelter is secretly a psychopath who pretty much kills every single injured/sick pet that comes in just to satisfy a hidden blood lust.

So true fact: when I was 4 or 5 I had my tonsils and adenoids removed. My mother probably bought $50 worth of popsicles and ice cream. After the surgery I didn’t want any of it. Instead the only thing I wanted was chocolate milk, and cold spinach.
I was 7 when I had them removed as well, because I had trouble breathing at night and got many infections there. It was very painful a few days afterwards and had trouble swallowing so I had to rely on liquids for those few days. I remember being super scared before the surgery as well. First surgery I got and was told I’d be put to sleep before the procedure, all I remember was the mask being put on my face and next thing I remember was them telling me “it’s all done” and my throat throbbing LOL How was your experience? Was it similar to mine?

The eye injury is something they teach at military basic training. I was taught to leave it. If you have a cover for it like a cup or something, put it over the injury spot with the object lodged in til you get actual medical help
Not just blonds, I was brunette as a kid it darkened to jet black as a teen, and while it hasn't changed again starting in my late 20 early 30s I find a red/copper hair once is a blue moon. The red hair isn't something you can spot On my head I only ever see them after brushing my hair cleaning out the brush
I must say, as someone that used to be a *DIE HARD OBSESSED* "South Park" fan (though I'll confess I haven't seen past season 20 because other fandoms gradually took over), there is something so adorable and wholesome about watching someone with less knowledge and experience with the show watching short clips and saying things like, "Come on! Again, with these kids? They're always gettin' into trouble! What the heck?" and "Oh my gosh, why are these kids throwing stars in the middle of winter? My dad had CDIFF (while living with ALS). His doctor recommended the fecal transplant and needed a donor. Guess who was the donor? Me lol it was interesting and the transplant was successful.
This is one of the funniest episodes I've watched. I like it when Cartman walks across the stage naked thinking he is invisible. Two other great ones are the one where they fake Butters death and the one where the launch the whale to the moon. Absolutely hilarious. Other notable episodes are when Randy guesses the N-word on Wheel of Fortune and when the kids set out on a mission to return the Game of Thrones video that is actually a porno. I do not like the gross episodes (usually involving Canada) and some episodes just don't live up to your expectations for such a hilarious show. The show seems to lack consistency that way but can be way funnier than Family Guy or similar shows but only sometimes. Other times they fail by a lot. So now you know what Gary O thinks. I know you're grateful. Who doesn't want my opinion about cartoons after all?
South Park, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, etc. They're all at best watchable with the occasional chuckle and even more rare laugh out loud utterly hilarious moments. Generally though they're just something to kill a half hour.
Sometimes I wish I could make the reasons I take medications sound more exciting rather than: I take my pills so I’m not scared to go outside and so I can focus
Not gonna lie, the ninja star scarred me as a child when my youngest cousin threw a brick at my middle cousin’s face and almost took his eye out. He had to go to the ER.
Hey guys, he’s okay, there was a lot of blood at the time, we couldn’t see his eye, because the brick lacerated his skin above the eye (his eyebrow). Thankfully he still has his eye, but has a nasty scar above his eye.
Here's a different suggestion that would be really interesting; Those Jackass movies with Johnny Knoxville; As stuntmen, they get injured or risk injury constantly. You should watch some of that and try to diagnose the injuries they get. I think in some situations they end up in the hospital or see doctors for injuries. I'd be curious to know what you think about them.

Same here, I had it done when I was 7 and remember waking up to a throbbing throat and had difficulty swallowing for a few days afterwards Had to rely on liquids, mainly ice cream and pudding Thankfully though I was pretty much back to normal within a week or so
My tonsils had to come out in my mid-40s. Never have I had such a painful recovery. I couldn't eat ANYTHING (and vomited the one time I tried.) For weeks I just hurt terribly.

Two other great ones are the one where they fake Butters death and the one where the launch the whale to the moon. Absolutely hilarious. Other notable episodes are when Randy guesses the N-word on Wheel of Fortune and when the kids set out on a mission to return the Game of Thrones video that is actually a porno. I do not like the gross episodes (usually involving Canada) and some episodes just don't live up to your expectations for such a hilarious show. The show seems to lack consistency that way but can be way funnier than Family Guy or similar shows but only sometimes. Other times they fail by a lot. So now you know what Gary O thinks. I know you're grateful. Who doesn't want my opinion about cartoons after all?
South Park, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, etc. They're all at best watchable with the occasional chuckle and even more rare laugh out loud utterly hilarious moments. Generally though they're just something to kill a half hour.

Not gonna lie, the ninja star scarred me as a child when my youngest cousin threw a brick at my middle cousin’s face and almost took his eye out. He had to go to the ER.

Hey guys, he’s okay, there was a lot of blood at the time, we couldn’t see his eye, because the brick lacerated his skin above the eye (his eyebrow). Thankfully he still has his eye, but has a nasty scar above his eye.

Here's a different suggestion that would be really interesting; Those Jackass movies with Johnny Knoxville; As stuntmen, they get injured or risk injury constantly. You should watch some of that and try to diagnose the injuries they get. I think in some situations they end up in the hospital or see doctors for injuries. I'd be curious to know what you think about them.
Never in my life would I have ever guessed that South Park would get anything accurate about medical procedures.
When I had my tonsils removed due to infection. I got all the popsicles I wanted along side ginger ale. But the pain after the surgery was ruff. Love your reactions, poor Butters I quiver every time.
Same here, I had it done when I was 7 and remember waking up to a throbbing throat and had difficulty swallowing for a few days afterwards
Had to rely on liquids, mainly ice cream and pudding
Thankfully though I was pretty much back to normal within a week or so

My tonsils had to come out in my mid-40s. Never have I had such a painful recovery. I couldn't eat ANYTHING (and vomited the one time I tried.) For weeks I just hurt terribly.
