Rented a Tacoma from Sixt at Denver airport back in August and am renting again from Sixt in Dallas/Fort Worth this week (booked a luxury SUV- X3 or similar). Had a great experience the first time with no issues.
Can you explain how pick-up works with the different companies. I remember with Alamo you just choose your car in a certain row. I think with avis they just give you no choice but with preferred plus you can pickup without talking to a human.. correct me if i am wrong
I have a sixt reservation for a Challenger "or similar" for spring next year. Do you know what cars they will most likely have in that category by then, Mustangs? Sad to see the Challenger and Camaro go
Just dropped off my X4 from sixt today at Pittsburgh. Very weird Bentley at the end I couldn’t see if it had a pm sticker or not that looked like a personal car with the frame on it sixt wouldn’t put a frame on it
I’ve seen awful reviews about Sixt nickel and dimming people for minor scratches even when the renter documents the damage was there at pick up and they have to go through hoops to fight the additional charges. Have you experienced this or any feedback on that?
Almost all of my rentals are with National. However I have rented from SixT in Germany and was sure to add and pay for the full insurance coverage from SixT on the rental to avoid any of these issues.
SIXT does have a bad reputation. So you need to video the car BEFORE & After the rental. Most of my rentals are in Europe with the most in Germany. Best if possible to pay the extra for their insurance so the damage is irrelevant. It’s not cheap but saves you a ton of headaches. Keep in mind they will charge you for every dent, scratch & specially the curb rashes which most US based companies do not. But they have but far the best selection of cars & high end Porsches, MB, BMW, etc. I have had 3 911 Porsches including a fantastic 911 Targa GTS/4 & a few weeks ago a brand my MB AMG GT63 Coupe in Germany & the Swiss Alps. You just need to really watch where & how you park since parking spots in Europe are very tight. Finally always get the drop off receipt when dropping off. DO NOT just use the key drop after hours or anytime.
Would love to go there someday! Although I've been told that security is so tight there if you pull out a cell phone to take a picture or video that security will be on you in a second. Lol
sixt is probably the best rental company out there in terms of car choices. sadly they dont have as many stores as other companies in US

Thanks again for the good video. I always enjoy doing this myself.
I loved those challengers

SIXT in US has not Z4M. Only in Germany
Good to know thanks. That’s actually what I had booked my last trip before I upgraded. I’ll try and get a Z4M next time.

It had PM sticker.
I’ve booked a Jeep Wrangler for later in the year but they seem to have disappeared off their website and can’t see any here. Any ideas?
That Bentley with FL registration seems to have a dealer license plate frame.
I have a reservation there tomorrow. Booked bmw 4 coupe. Excited what Upgrades they may offer.
Let us know how it goes. Hopefully some nice upgrades on offer. Otherwise the 4 series coupe is great!
@CarRentalGuy X5 :-)
@@philipppriebe5179 what engine do you get?
Reserved a 4 series convertible upgraded to a M850 in PHX last week
@ wow that’s awesome! I definitely need to upgrade into one of those sometime!

Any chance on an update from Alamo specifically premium elite SUV?
When will you ever come to ATL airport?
