I absolutely love how everyone’s elytra is drawn differently!! It really adds this subtle character to everyone’s designs
Makes me wish you could customize them in-game. I know capes change the color, but I want different styles and shapes.

I love Impulse's cut off "NOO-" at the beginning, it feels like a premonition of the mishaps to come

Oh man, I loved reliving this scene again. It’s also cool to see others’ designs for elytra’s and other flying contraption! You may know this already, but Doc canonically gave himself redstone butterfly wings :D

I love Doc’s gesturing in disbelief as he just goes “you BROKE it??? hOW???” to “you will rue the day!! >:(“ to “aww these gifts are cute :D” - the changes in expressions as he goes through the stages of grief at ghe destruction is SO GOOD

I knew it, it was the tunnel machine incident. Also the design on the machine and there reactions is amazing; you really captured there shock after it blew up.
The way he says “Who can be mad about balloons?” is so wholesome; I love it. Great animation!
The best part of this incident for me was the contrast in perspectives, for Scar and Grian the giant “we’re sorry” sign was in slime blocks giving off a calm green hue, but for Doc due to his texture pack it was blood red and totally unsettling
Encapsulated the absolute chaos and distress the (accidental) destructive duo felt in wake of the “incident” lmao
Love how you went through the effort of designing the machine and instead of leaving nearly nothing left like in the actual game, you drew the remains to show semblance to what the results could be like irl. Along with all three of their expressions the entire vid being so lively, emotive, and ✨expressive!✨ Things like that are to be appreciated :D

There's always so much attention to detail, like each person's elytra having a different design, and Scar pressing the button after Grian. Loved the portrayal of what exactly went wrong, the machine (giving it tank treads to obey gravity) and Doc's arena and how you gave him a jetpack. I also loved how you made him use a fragment of the machine as a mirror. Nice emoting BTW.

Your doc design is so good! The way you drew him and his expressions was just so “doc”, the same with all your other designs you always manage to capture the hermits’ personality so well! And the tunnel bore design was awesome! Incredible animation as always ❤ edit: I really loved the detail of grian pushing scar away from the tunnel bore in the beginning, that was really funny XD

I've seen a couple other animatics of this scene, but I think this is the first one to actually show a detailed version of the machine. The details of the machine blowing apart and Doc looking at the broken pieces really sells the scene.

I absolutely love the way you portrayed the redstone components of the bore machine as an actual sort of machine.
Wow, can I say I LOVE the detail??? It's always so impressive when artists creatively reinterpret things like redstone mechanisms or elytras to make them more in-world. All those cables, gears, the holes that tracks make in the cave...
Also, I think you captured perfectly the shock and "Oh shiiiiiit" vibes of that moment... And Doc's emotions later, the absolute WTF energy you gave in those faces as he sifts through the wreckage... Great stuff!

this was an amazing animatic! Doc's elytra being a jetpack was SUCH an inspired choice! and I absolutely love how, when scar pressed it after Grian, he just kinda casually leaned on it, thinking nothing would go wrong!
I love, love, love the character designs in this, especially when they're using their elytra. It's so unique how Grian's are feathered, Scars are dragon wings, and Doc literally has a couple rocket propellers on his back. That's just so unique and cool, I absolutely adore it

Any "Grian-Proof" thing can usually be broken by pressing it twice
your animatics always impress me! you always find a way to adapt minecraft in a way that feels less minecrafty while still being faithful, i appreciate that effort. and all the characters are super expressive and there's a lot of fun angles.... i love your work :))
