The best part of this incident for me was the contrast in perspectives, for Scar and Grian the giant “we’re sorry” sign was in slime blocks giving off a calm green hue, but for Doc due to his texture pack it was blood red and totally unsettling

Wow, can I say I LOVE the detail??? It's always so impressive when artists creatively reinterpret things like redstone mechanisms or elytras to make them more in-world. All those cables, gears, the holes that tracks make in the cave... Also, I think you captured perfectly the shock and "Oh shiiiiiit" vibes of that moment... And Doc's emotions later, the absolute WTF energy you gave in those faces as he sifts through the wreckage... Great stuff!

I love the expressions on Grian's and Scar's faces when the machine breaks- it reflects their voices and reactions in real life so well and you can just see the horror on their faces in that moment of the animatic which makes it feel so realistic! Great art!
