This ride operated in Australia from 2010 - 2014 and traveled at a few major carnivals before being sold overseas. The ride had many incidents, including a high profile breakdown at the Royal Easter Show.
This ride also operated for about a season as fear coaster at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, not sure why it wasn't mentioned or is it a different model. Was called fear coaster and operated in 2011 so it was probably the final time it was actually open to the public
Yeah, I feel its more like an inversion than a drop because it feels like it goes completely under itself where TMNT/Takabisha technically already start dropping, but then hit the max angle before continuing
I don’t believe it counts for worlds steepest because S&S has a coaster model that “drops” 180 degrees, but uses trims, so not a drop. So in the Tower Coaster’s case, it wouldn’t count.
It had it's debut in The Netherlands, not in Germany. Hinzen is a Dutch showman, not German. Cool & Fresh did not get a German proof of safety. It was never allowed to operate in Germany.
It was on one German fair (Cranger Kirmes) once, that was where I got my ride in. Even though I was 100% GP at that point in time, and Bandit at Movie Park Germany (back then still WB Movie World) was amongst my favourite coasters, I found it to be incredibly rough. Even the brakes didn't brake you, they simply stopped you.
@Koaster-Kritik True. But Hinzen is a Dutch showman non the less. But yeah, He had trouble with the German TUV back then. He certainly was not allowed to operate the ride before some heavy modifications at least. The whole ride is a total disaster being more SBNO then Operational.
Cool & Fresh doesn't have the drop record because it doesn't really drop at that angle... It hits the angle, but it doesn't level out and ride that angle for any real length and instead just angles back to 90 degrees before holding that angle.
@snoleopard Looked it up on RCDB and indeed - not as steep. HOWEVER, unlike the subject of the video, it appears from the photos that the element is NOT trimmed - thus it might qualify as an actual drop! Also the tight loop immediately after the tower... Well that looks painful.
The steepest part of a coaster can only go to 90 degrees. Any part with an angle above that is then becoming less steep, up to 180 degrees, which is not steep at all. Then, the cycle repeats. The ‘steepness’ record is so stupid.

The cables helping to hold up the lift hill is a big no for me. 😅

it operated past May 2012? could you provide more info?
I rode this at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in the late 2000s and I can firmly say it’s the worst coaster I have ever been on
I rode it at cranger kirmes Germany. 2003 sounds about right.

Glad to see you brought back what is it and where did it come from...

DippieDoe Attractie Park is an amazing name!😂😂😂

Why do I have a very vivid memory of seeing on of these on the Australian Show circuit around the 2000s???
cause it was, he just didnt mention it for whatever reason
This video is Cool and Fresh 🔥🥳😎(forget my lazy ahh joke😭)

Now cool and fresh is Cold and stale
Sweet! New National Coasters content 💪

Rode it in Tilburg.
Very rough and uncomfortable indeed....
Roller Coaster Tycoon 3
If I remember this ride was re created out of. K’nex under the same name Cool and fresh, not sure if it exists anymore til this day.
I literally only know of this rollercoaster because of rollercoaster tycoon 3
You need to check out ‘The Ultimate’ from lightwater valley! Super unique
I rode this in Tilburg. It's trash.
I still give the steepest record to cannibal. Considerably taller you actually experience it's beyond vertical drop
Wasn't there a Chinese or Russian clone that was just as steep?
you are thinking of the Sounding Roller Coaster. no, it wasn't as steep.

I CAN'T help IT the COOL & FRESH remind me of the 60s/70s CARNIVAL ride THE TOBOGAN
I think its an inversion but idk about the sounding coaster
Tilburgse Kermis.
Nice try on pronouncing that, not bad at all 👍😎
I have a strong opinion
Good. Hang on to that.
