OCT is a uniquely beautiful departure from the PCT. Love your incredible energy, adventurous spirit, and relaxed perspective on this extracurricular journey you chose to embark on. Happy trails!
One thing you ABSOLUTELY have to try is Dungeness Crab while you are on the Oregon Coast! Please make a point of that. You won’t be sorry. Loving these videos! Keep them coming please 🥾
What a couple of hectic days. Such a huge contrast from the PCT. The camping on the beach ,the ocean and those potatoes looked so delicious. Anyway, thanks for the videos. Take care from Fruita Co
Glad you got to the tillamook creamery. Seems you missed the clam chowder at the fish market but what a great find to watch whales snd seals while you had yummy tillamook cheesy mash potatoes. That hole in the rocks was amazing. I knew you’d love this trail. The Oregon coast is just nothing short of amazing
Perhaps what the Oregon Coast Trail needs is more publicity (I live within 50 miles of it and hardly know it exists), so that it develops a network of transit angels to help with bypassing the roads and incomplete segments.
Ok. Why didn’t I consider ur transit strategy instead of road walking to/thru Tillsmook🤷♂️. Luv the ice cream & jerky. Getting over Cape Meares was an adventure. I def earned my comfort level for road walking on the OCT😵💫. U guys have a good approach. Mine was “thru hiking” so walked all 400. U should have several sweet forest sections ahead.
They couldn't fix damage from a windstorm in the last nine months? For how much revenue one of these state park campgrounds generates, that seems a bit hard to accept. I agree this trail needs more attention; Oregon State Parks are not the best at long term planning or, like, executing said plans.
Be ready with a downloaded song by Shawn Mullins…”Twin Rocks, Oregon”….to listen as you hike past Twin Rocks,Oregon …you will be moved!!! While your moving!
Moriah looks so happy!

Nice sand dollar. That’s one well-traveled dog!
Did not know about ferries... hmmm. Learned something! Thanks
Looks like a fun but more expensive trail with all of the temptations of town. Missed not seeing a chowda' review. Lovin' the videos.

I agree, skip around and enjoy the bits you can. Just have fun. More Chowder!!!
Great philosophy on hiking/walking, great fun video, and I just love the music you are picking - fits so well with the mood. Best, Paul
Thank you for sharing!

I get a little worried when I see Moriah lobster red. I hope y'all are doing your best to protect yourselves from the sun!
Beautiful scenery, very curious about this trail. Glad you are doing it. Pup looks like he is loving the beach!
Don’t blame you in the road walking. It’d be hard to go back to the PCT in a full body cast after getting smacked by a truck!
Love your videos!
Gorgeous!

The seals would have made the trip for me.
This trail is so beautiful!!!
Ayiyi!! YO QUIERO!!! Oh, Man ... when I saw those oysters!!! Ok... gotta finish....
Hope to see you back on the pct soon and the Oregon coast is beautiful camped in the later 70s with my mom

Tillamook … delicious
Cheese curds = the cheese that plays basketball in your mouth! (Squeak, squeak, squeak!)

You must be popular, you now have dating spam on your channel. 🙄😳
You cannot walk on a closed trail without risking going to jail but you can burn a city with impunity.
That's Oregon!
