I agree. With season 2, I hope we see more of him and I really hope he rejoins them for good. Watching the episodes back, it feels weird him not being with them, so I really hope he rejoins them when the time is right!
Consider this controversial but I’d say Crosshairs is one of if not the most interesting and complex characters in the entirety of Star Wars. It’s almost impossible to guess his next move. He’s as much human as he is soldier.
Crosshair is an interesting character bc he is stuck in a balance of loyalty between his family (the bad batch) and the empire which he serves so despite being cold I really do think he care about his family more than the empire but he refuses to admit it (the scene when he tells his men to stand down but his men refuse to so he kills his own men to save the bad batch despite having the bad batch at gunpoint shows how much he actually cares about his family more than empire) I strongly believe that crosshair is not truly 100% cold blooded he does have a caring heart but he only cares for very few people and the bad batch (his family) is the one of few people he truly care about
Then he shouldn't have argued with Hunter since they don't follow orders, like Regs, they improvise. Not to mention he wouldn't hesitate to shoot Omega in episode 8 when the batch got their chips removed
@@bertatafel1938nobody knows exactly when his chip was removed. I think Crosshair’s chip was removed following the explosion on Bracca. So technically it could still have been active when he shot at the batch and Omega. The way I see it, Crosshair’s hurt from his brothers’ abandonment at the beginning of the series when his actions were NOT his fault but his being under the chip’s control, combined with his need to be a soldier are what kept him with the Empire after.
You think Crossbair tried to resist the influence of his inhibitor chip? Since, despite having enhanced eyesight - making him a skillfully sniper - he never actually shot Kanan... instead, he shot the branch Kanan was standing on🤷♀️
I think he has really complicated morals. It seems he has a really hard time killing Kanan despite being one of the best marksmen in existence. I think he could’ve easily killed Kanan there as well as being able to shoot his brothers but then has amazing aim anywhere else. He wants to follow the empire but on his own terms I think
Keep in mind, chip didn't fully work when Crosshair received Order 66. None of their chips did. His was just the only one that seemed to take any effect, though not entirely.

What if… Tech’s Chip activated! He’d certainly be a major thorn in many sides including the Batch! He’d use his *Exceptional* Mind to formulate multiple battle strategies to lure out the empire’s enemies as well utilizing his enhanced mind for the Galactic Empire’s Imperial Science Projects at his full disposal with a lab to himself! He’d also research certain weaknesses in many Jedi survivors then fully exploit them to his advantage! And he’d use the galaxy’s resources to further advance the Imperial Scientific achievements! Hence is why I’m thinking of an Imperial Tech!
Things to like about Crosshair: 1. His sniping skills 2. His balance between loyalty to his family and empire 3. His cold attitude softens up sometimes. 4. His unique rifle among Clones. (At 0:05 the rifle looks like an RT-97C and in 1:15 if you exclude the stock and scope it looks like a DLT-20A)

I don’t want him to side with the Empire. He’s the best sharpshooter I’ve seen since RC-1207 of Delta Squad aka Sev. I still remember the day he went MIA it was on Kashyyyk. Delta Squad was tasked of destroying a Separatist Cruiser above Kachiro using 4 Turbo Laser Turrets. The droids were throwing all hands to stop them even Geonosians. Once the ship was destroyed the Squad was to regroup at 38’s position for Ex Fill. We lost contact with him on the Comms hearing static & blaster sounds. The squad was force to leave him behind they were wracked with guilt. Sev: "Boss, I've got a problem here!" Boss: "Sev, where are you?" Sev: "Sector…multiple hostiles…Sir!" Fixer: "Lost his signal, Boss!" Boss: "Well, find it again, damnit! Squad, regroup! We're going after Sev." Clone Advisor 1: "Negative negative, 38! New orders came through from the Jedi Generals! Clear the area! EVAC now!" Boss: “I don’t care if they came from Master Yoda himself!” Clone Advisor 1: “As a matter of fact, they DID, Soldier. Now get your squad out of there. Scorch: “Blast our orders! Forty?” Fixer: “He’s right, Boss. We gotta EVAC!” Scorch: “Sir, we have to go back!”
They aren’t training any new ARC troopers. Those were the days of the republic. Besides, he was already more advanced than most ARC troopers when the clone army was under republic command.
Chances are the remaining ARCs will stay that way. There won’t be any new commandos or ARCs, enforced by the fact that Rampart annihilated Tipoca City by the end of Season 1.

4:32 is absolute stupid plot armour. The laser reflects off of clone armour, it shouldn't.

I wonder if the reflector increases the velocity of the blast, allowing it to penetrate plastics armour
In universe, it all depends on the gas of the bolts. Though in reality I can't argue that it makes much sense for all FOUR to be penetrated.
