So funny about the naming thing, I named a big 8 Zeus this year and shot right under his belly opening bow and he never came back. Lesson learned

So August is my stand time and can time but I learn from years prior on what they do.
I then will scout a little in the begging of October. I will get backs on cams at 5 and 6 am. I then know they will make a rut mistake near the end of the month and pop out during daily light. I hunt ams. Not always but if I have the potential to catch one on the way back to bed
