When the Pisces moon was an infant, they generally had some of their needs met but some of the times there was a bit of neglect from the mothering figure. But not in a way in which the mother intentionally wanted to do it, but due to different circumstances, mother or the mothering figure just couldn’t always be there. And maybe the Pisces moon could sense that.
This is speaking without taking into account the aspects, the Pisces moon person’s relationship with mom tends to be somewhat distant. Either physically or emotionally but again….it is NOT something malicious that the mothering figure wanted to impose on the moon in Pisces- she may just have been in a chaotic time of life, or something may have happened to her that was out of her control. Not saying this happened throughout ALL of the Pisces moon person’s life, some of moon in Pisces might have filled in the gap with their mothers, but some Pisces moons might have not. Different people have different lives.
The general habit patterns of the Pisces moon is that they constant feel an emptiness in their lives and instead of facing the actual reason why they feel a certain way, you as a Pisces moon prefer to escape from the feeling. Moon in Pisces escape through taking action in something that brings you to a state of otherworldliness….this is a result of not having that mothering figure to emotionally attach to when you were younger meaning that you had gotten used to attaching your emotions to something that you believe will one day save you from these feelings of emptiness, hence, the ethereal, the timelessness.
The Pisces moon person does this as a form of unconscious self-protection. Pisces moons can almost feel like there’s not much they can count on in the real world. You see, the mothering figure is supposed to be that one person that can provide safety and security to a child but if they weren’t there for the child…well…the child isn’t going to really be able to trust other things in their life….so the only thing the child and as they became adults CAN TRUST is something which isn’t in moon in Pisces life and isn’t in this world. Because it’s just almost impossible for moon in Pisces to place their security in the hands of other people they meet, or their job, or their hobbies, it’s just not possible because the foundation of trust which is supposed to be built with the mothering figure, the FIRST nurturing figure in one’s life wasn’t there. But still, people need something they can RELY on, we all need someone, so without that foundation, the Pisces moon’s only option is to trust in the power of timelessness and otherworldliness.
If you are in a relationship with a Pisces moon, the most important thing that you need to know is that these are extremely compassionate and emphatic people. Whatever you feel, moon in Pisces can feel it as if it’s theirs. And this is because since infancy Pisces moons had an unspoken intuitive knowing that their mother loved them but just couldn’t be there. This absence of the mother forces these intuitive abilities on to moon in Pisces. So, if you are someone who is also very sensitive and emotional, just make sure you verbally explain to Pisces moon with logic why you feel a certain way and how you are planning to solve the problems at hand. Otherwise, they’d be really pulled in and your gentle and sweet Pisces moon will break, even if the problem is not even theirs.

Same here! A few years ago, I received a deep eye reading from a scorpio. they said they didn’t sense any nurturing from my mother growing up. I don’t recall many memories of my mother in younger days, just a few.
I thought maybe she had a job? Some obligations outside the home? So I asked my mom about it a few years ago. she said she didn’t have a job, but she “couldn’t handle” me & my brother so she just left us with a sitter most of the time. I loved all my babysitters by the way.
She still didn’t speak of where she went, or what she did, but I imagine she lived her life during the day as if she was free from her children.

This was a HUGE part of my depression.. feeling like I couldn’t connect to my reality.. so I MUST MUST do things everyday to ground myself and its hard as fuck doing so. Even with my sun in Virgo ..a sign dealing in reality and Earth.. my emotions are another thing. Everything I do I make sure I make it a REAL THING. I find myself going on Adventures to make sure I feel the intensity of life so I wont find myself fantasizing about my life. Great video - thank you. Just want to say that I don't consciously wallow in my pain. I don't even really think about it. Usually I can only emote vicariously. If I'm feeling heartbreak, I won't cry until I watch a movie about heartbreak or hear someone else describing what it's like....then, through empathy, my feelings are universalized and unlocked.
This is partly because my mother wasn't available, as you said. If there is no one to monitor you and take care of you, you start to evolve to become someone with no problems. I mean your problems have been invisible for so long, you treat them like they are invisible, too. You can feel them but can't quite grasp where it comes from and where it's going. Much easier to focus on other people and their problems, which are more real. They are more real because the other person is vocalizing and expressing and acting out all these emotions.
My own emotions can be so strong, overblown, tainted with "impressions" (real intuition or paranoia...who knows?) that sometimes there is no way to put them across and expect someone to validate them. How could they ever understand? So instead I tend to just reflect back their emotions in some form, to create emotional resonance. If I'm ever taking the lead with emotions it's just in line with my spiritual disciplines and principles....yes, those are more real to me. It's as if I am a spiritual being, that is my truth, my identity. So all I can legitimately offer is my faith in what's beyond or in the spiritual nature of reality itself. In our scientific age, few people grasp it. It's alienating and isolating.
I love your content. I have a Pisces moon and relate to what you're saying. I think I always had a special connection with my mom, but she could not always be there because of work. Also I feel like she was limited in the emotional support that she could provide due to being in a very strict religion which taught her very black and white thinking. Very accurate. I was born as a premature baby, and I needed to stay in the hospital for a whole month. My mother said sometimes she forgot that she had a newborn at home because I didn't cry if it was time for me to be fed. She said she would find me waiting patiently for her. Me and my ex bf both have a pisces moon. I think the main difference is that, while we both had rough relationships with out mothers as kids, I was able to become very close to her and fill that gap.
She had me very young and went through a traumatic divorce with my dad when I was still a toddler, so we relied a lot on our grandparents for my childhood. She also projected some of her struggles in school from when she was young onto me when I was in adolescence, so my bad grades caused our relationship to be very rocky for those years. I think we both matured a lot after that and we are super close now, I tell her everything and feel very connected to her.
My ex bf's relationship with his mom is still very hard and they have a hard time understanding each other.

my son has a pisces moon and what you said in the beginning is pretty accurate because right now not able to be there and care for him because he's in the nicu, from being born extremely premature, so the bonding a normal baby would get he won't be able to receive for a while and it breaks my heart cause all i want to do is love and cuddle him, and show how special he is to me all the time.

I'm a man with Gemini sun and Pisces moon. I've had numerous relationships throughout my life (i'm 36 now), but none of them really fulfilled my emptiness. Almost every week, I get very moody because of the overwhelming amount of unknown feelings I have. I can't really put them in words, but it's been very challenging to carry them in my day to day life.... I rely on marijuana to escape from the reality and my feelings, but it's been hurting my soul and mind. I feel like I am not living the life I want to live..
I'm a Gemini sun and Pisces moon too but female(25) and I feel the same way. It's pretty hard dating because I get bored so easily, and its hard to feel anything (but I feel everything at times so it really doesn't make any sense lol). And for whatever reason Pisces moons attract "broken" or negative people a lot so I would suggest to sage your house often, because those "unknown feelings" could be bad energy that you are absorbing from other people.

Scorpio Sun Pisces Moon here, my father is Pisces sun and mother Gemini Sun Pisces moon, her sun falling in 4th or Cancer house... Thus my mother and I are emotionally very similar, my moon falling in the 10th house. However, my father was more absent of the 2 when I was a child as opposed to the mother as you described.

My mom had to let me go and have my dad and grandparents raise me, because she wasn’t mentally able to. Because of this I decided to be the mother I never had, so I’m mostly a stay-at-home mom. But I fear that because we do share a moon sign and the absent mom is a core part of the infancy and up bringing, I don’t want to be that for my son. Though maybe him being special needs makes it so. I'm a Scorpio(8), Pisces Moon, Pisces Rising individual. I kind of agree with a lot, but I think my natal Chart makes me a bit different in many regards. Like my Venus being in Libra (7), Virgo Mars (7), Sagittarius in Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune (all but Mercury in the 9th house, that is in Sagittarius, which is in the 8th house that is in Scorpio,) Scorpio being in Saturn(8) and Pluto (7), Aquarius for my Lilith(12), and Gemini North Node (3). am a pisces moon and im detached from my mom. i have a lot of mother figures but i tend to be overly independent because i feel like i cannot rely on my biological mom. my other mother figures are her older sisters. they tend to make up for her lack. and i dont want to burden them so i do things on my own.

Have you read Power of the Now? It gives a new dimension to your views on the dimension of timelessness not bringing happiness. That when you go into that state you’re not living.
I hope the book will change your view, because the dimension of timelessness or as Ekhart Tolle calls it the Unmanifested … isn’t designed to bring happiness. It’s simply the source of awareness. It transcends the brain concept of “happiness”.
It all depends on if you want to participate in the world or reality that the collective human mind had created. Where there is unhappiness because everything there deals in dualities.
I have a Pisces Moon and have found that focussing on your body through meditation give you an amazing hightened state of awareness where I experience connected timelessness. The body is the ultimate source of information.
