NY is the most overlooked region for sasquatch activities.
Certainly underrated but it's quite known for Whitehall. It seems Northern New England (Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine) is the most underrated when it comes to Sasquatch however.
Yes, Bigfoot in western N.Y. I saw (2) in 2006 and 2008. Monroe county has them near pine groves and creeks. Very tall, all black, and walk with swinging arms.
Another different photo was an old adult Bigfoot losing his hair. Texas man set up 3 cameras at diff angles because the creature was on his back property eating fruit from trees. They can see the light emitted from motion sensors, so as they turn to avoid them, and gets caught by the 3rd camera. Mostly come out at night to forage for food. They make stick formations in the woods, knock on trees to locate each other, and always walk in straight line , like a fox does. They can turn on red glowing night vision at will. Some are dangerous and can chase you out of THEIR woods. At a distance, if you happen to be lucky enough to see a Sasquatch in the day time, watch the trailing legs in behind. - The returning leg going forward is always PARALLEL to the ground. This can be used to grade all those Fake videos. Take a plaster cast of a large Bigfoot track and show it to some dogs noses. Wimper + tail between the legs. Scent is too strong for dogs,- that's why they won't track them.
i'm from north central maine, back in the early 80's , a friend of mine and i had an encounter at just before midnight 1 summer night as we were walking back to my home, he was spending the weekend at my house, high school friend, it was just on the outer edge of the street light glow, misty/foggy night, we heard it walking towards then it stopped just out of full view, but we saw something really big, wide and we ran the other direction and walked the long way to my house, the next morning, he called his mom to come get him, he never came to my house again, i went down to the spot from the night before, the road runs alongside a river, i found gigantic foot prints leadind down to the water, i'm thinking it swam to the island out in the middle of the river, there are countless islands along this river, no one ever goes to them, not that i know of

I’m from Madison and just always considered that central, probably more west central. I live near Bethel now and have to believe they’re in this area of wilderness. It’s vast here near the white mts.

I was totally unaware Whitehall was a historic Bigfoot place. To me, I knew it was a birth place to the Navy. I'll have to go visit it seeing I don't live far from there. Definitely interesting stories.

Me and my buddies camped out on top of Buck mountain to watch the fireworks. Pretty cool to see the fireworks there on Fourth of July.

I have friends who live on the edge of a large national forest. They have seen them multiple times and have lived with the screams, hoots and wood knocks for as long as they have lived there.
I did prison time at Raybrook NY, the prison was a med high Federal prison on the old Lake Placid Olympic Village. I can say we saw everything from Moose to Bears. Nvr actually saw Squatch but we heard some weird calls in the woods around the prison
The only call you were wanting to hear was from the parole board.

had a summer camp on the lake side of Buck Mountain about a 1/4 mile from one of the sightings. I used to fish off the dock late at night and heard tree knocks every so often. The mountain was like a backyard playground for me and my cousins. Hot days we would climb the creek that comes down it, and sometimes you would get this feeling you were being watched.

On our way home from vacation in Maine several years ago we drove through Whitehall, i would have loved to have driven down Abair Road but we didn’t have time to do that. But it was a thrill just to drive through that town on our way back to Michigan
I love Michigan , I heard you guys have hot spots too im from Chicago I been to northern michigan plenty times beautiful lakes/Forrest’s one of my favorite places in the world I was In arcadia traverse city was an amazing experience pure wilderness

I don't think you guys will ever experience much if you don't quit making so much noise. I Love this stuff since I lived in Oregon for 58 years and wandered the woods. I have learned to be quiet in the woods and have come up on critters and startled them. I also think that Bigfoot can see IR cameras. Trail cameras get side tracked all the time and even Deer see the light too. Coyotes work with Bigfoot, I've noticed. I put out Apples, but Oranges are special because they can smell an Orange from a long way away. Cut one or more in half in a known place and see what happens. All the hollering you people do just lets them know where you are and what you are...but wood knocks are their locators for other Squatch. Let's the others know your there. I hate to say this...but if you want to attract one or more, have a Woman in her period come out with you. Indians have said there attracted to the smell, especially if the Woman is not real clean...natural. I know that's gross...but true. We tend to think like modern people...think a little more towards the Natural. Putting out presents like the apples and oranges lets them know you're not there to harm...also, I think they know when you're carrying a fire arm...maybe the smell from them too puts them off. These are critters of the woods...Masters of their domain, so you're not fooling them at all with your whoops and calls. Best thing to do is be quiet, watch the trees, leave gifts and keep the IR off. Show respect because you're in their home. My humble opinion. Love the show.
You raise some good points. I've done the Whoops and Wood Knocks but have had the best results at times I was sitting on an old railroad Tressel when I heard Whoops up ahead in the dark.Another time I was pushing my bike up a steep hill crossing a creek. I had my bike lights flashing to alert vehicles when I heard 6 rapid wood knocks come from deep in the uninhabited wood of some DNR land. Both of these areas were very close to a National Forest in NW Wisconsin.
I brought my girlfriend with me and she was on her period. I told her to rub her period around her body and we made "mating" calls. One eventually showed up with a massive erection and I just ran and left my girlfriend in the woods.
Well said respect to your natural instincts and articulating what the real deal is and tour humble concerns for nature and General and how to respect their domain with gifts instead of invading. Their natural domain. Somethings they do are disrespectful mimics. Contest I know it's a new tourist spot but some people need to cut the nonsense out .outrageous yelling

We just purchased land to build a private family camp in the foot hills. Use to be logging territory 30+ years ago. Totally isolated. While walking through the heavily wooded area to pick out areas to build small structures on I came across multiple tree structures. We joked it must have been bigfoot as the only access to the property is under video surveillance. I had no idea this was actually a thing but the way these were created really caught out attention so we started watching documentaries and doing some research. After seeing other tree structures found in other areas they were an exact match. They appeared to be marking giant trees with hollow areas inside. Im convinced now. I cant deny what I saw. They were too big for a man to break the way they were and placed so perfectly in a pattern. When we returned to the property across our access road multiple trees about 3 in around were snapped 10ft up so that they blocked the road every 40ft or so. There was no wind or storms during the week we weren't there. They were healthy trees. Now I'm like ok... how do we make peace with them so they don't scare my young kids and let them know we won't bother you if you dont bother us 😅

Just got back from the Adirondacks. Spent a few days near the sacandaga reservoir area. Some of the woods are dark during the day as the woods are that thick. Gotta know what you're doing in these woods or you might not make it out.
White Hall is DEEP into the Adirondacks! I live in "the Foothills" which is Fulton/Montgomery/Saratoga County....Whitehall is almost as North as you get in this state without crossing into Canada. Just wanted to correct that.
Fantastic as usual, Aleks and Eli! I loved the interviews, the history of it all, and putting STM's previous work there in context too. You really capture the spirit of the place. Incidentally, I had NO idea Whitehall was at the southern end of Lake Champlain. Fascinating to have two cryptids in the same area. I would still love to see you get deeper into Adirondack Park and really explore there.

I was hitting some high peaks in ADK last month and heard some weird knocks and had a feeling of being watched and followed. I'm not a paranoid person and rarely if ever get that feeling. Who knows
It's an interesting area. Whitehall has sasquatch, the lake has Champ, and right nearby is the Bennington triangle.

I was just there 6 days ago! What a coincidence. Although I was disappointed to see that there's no Bigfoot Museum. That's a missed opportunity for a town that I'm pretty sure relies on tourism

Awesome upload. I own a few pieces of land up there. Really don't visit them that much but they're surrounded by woods that go on for miles. No doubt these things are around.
At 16.40 I can see the big foots eyes over the mans sholder..wow they didn't even know it was there..I wasn't a believer but I am now..to think they existed all along..
They need to get up with Bob Garret and those guys in Texas if they want to see one. Wes Germer can vouch for that.

13:02 Sounds authentic, like she's either being carried away by a 'squatch or being eaten by one. Combine her rendition (an octave lower in pitch) with that of the guy who followed her and you've got something close to what I heard in 1997 in the North Idaho woods. All that would be lacking would be to blend in the roar of an angry elephant. Mix those three together and I'd vote for it. There's something out there - something elusive, big, and as yet unproved to the world.

We have heard wood knocks on our property in the EUP but never have seen one, or seen tracks or heard howls other than what we believe to be coyotes or wolves. There are times that I get a creepy feeling like I’m being watched or that I just want to get out of that area like right now.

I’m from a town right next to Whitehall NY- lots of strange stories, as well as an old friend of mine was related ti the cop who reported the sighting back in the 1970’s/80’s

I've lived in the foothills of the Adirondacks for over twenty years now. I've spent A LOT of time in the woods. I've seen and heard a lot of things I can exscuse and explain away- but- for all I know- something or somethings are in those Moutains.

How did you make the handgrip night vision with IR. I can’t figure out how to connect mine to my SiOnyx
I believe the Sionyx came with a picatinny rail, so I just attached that to the camera and mounted a few parts purchased separately such as the grip and a flashlight mount. It was a bit of a custom job so you may want to experiment with a couple of things to see what works best. Good luck. -Aleks
I saw one for a split second on the way to Bass lake when I was 10 in the 70’s. On the side of the road with a boulder in a sling either made of rope or tree twine. Swinging it over his head. My sister told me to get in the back of the van and lay down. When I asked what it was. She said it’s a weirdo in a fur coat. I never believed that! A man couldn’t swing a rock that big over his head. Brief. But it’s what I saw

Man… I never knew there were sightings in Whitehall. That explains the god damn Bigfoot carving I thought was just some eccentric person. I think I even have a picture of one of the carvings in my camera roll. It was when they got flooded a couple years ago and there were people traveling by boat on one road. I gotta talk to my buddy who’s into the Bigfoot stuff and see if he knows about that.
If squatch was watching this he would be like why is it acting like that 14:21 native Americans would be proud though.
