Nice conversation. The biggest concern I have about critical theory is that it seems to depend on correlational data to explain complex outcomes. And, the cause of complex inequalities is always systemic. For example, the surest sign of systemic injustice is that the average of group-A has an unequal outcome. Thoughtful people might generate a dozen possible causes for the unequal outcome. However, critical theorist are incentived to throw out 11 possible causes because they aren't systemically created by the State. Then, a solution is offered that likely won't factor unintended consequences nor solve the underlying problem(s)..... Or, as the guest might say, "won't factor the unintended consequence pointed out by Thomas Sowell." Haha Also, I'm still unclear what Marxism has to offer Christians other than a poison pill.
May I suggest checking out the The Center for Biblical Unity Ministry with Monique Duson and Krista Bontreger if you haven’t done so already? They do an excellent job of presenting this topic.
@@bethanystevenson4508Hey! Can you share more about this? What scriptures are you referencing? And how do you think this should impact our thoughts on racial inequality?

Biblically there is only 1 race!
Actually there are 2: redeemed and lost
@@erichuffman1369 spiritually yes, but as far as in the flesh there is only 1 race of humankind!
