@amoric4life Thank you for your positive response!!! The woman behind the camera is Dee Kim. She is Sungha's Global Tour/PR Manager. Also works as interpreter for Sungha and his family. -W-
It's cute how nervous they both are... and it was cute when the interview messed up his name and then sungha whispered "jung." TOO cute. While the questions weren't exactly awesome, the interviewer did say that it was his very first interview. Instead of an interview, it seems like it was more of a conversation. The nervousness really just added to the adorkable-ness :). Hopefully the interviewer will be able to interview sungha again after he has a couple more interviews under his belt lol
The comments are even more interesting...LoL @Wistbacka great job! Have been wondering how his voice would sound like and how he'd sound when speaking in English. Both you and Sungha-goon are a bit awkward (and shy?) but I can see he's having a good time with the interview. Hope next time you could ask him more open-ended questions so his answers won't be just plain yes or no. I still envy you because you got up close and personal with a humble star! Keep it up! ^_^
I love you for asking the girlfriend-question :'D haha you're both so nervous! oh gosh even I was nervous everytime you asked a question and sunga was about to answer :') thanks for the awesome interview!
@DoubleMannings Hahaa! Yes I did. It was after a few re-takes when Sungha forgot what to say in English and time was running out (Sungha had to leave for his hotel) so we kinda rushed the ending. I did notice myself pronouncing it wrong. AGAIN, but I don't bothered recording it again. If I don't remember wrong, even my memorycard in the camera was full. ^^ But thanks for your support, and for liking this interview! Best Regards! -W-
@foxygranpa6 Thank you so much! It feels good to know that people acctually liked this. Was abit affraid that Ive failed with 100+ views and no comments. So once again thank you for your positive comment! -W-l
@Summery05 What's is so fantastic about that? It's not really natural for me to pronouce "Jung" as "chong". :P I tried to learn to pronouce it before the interview too, but failed. :P -W-
i love when he's speaking english, because, when he don't have enough time to make a hole sentence,he just says a few words, says ,,yeah,, and nod..:))is the most cutter thing that i love about him..:))
Why is everybody picking on me for this? I haven't hear one single English-speaking person pronouncing a Finnish name correctly yet. Not even Swedish people can pronounce Finno-Swedish names due to the reason for Swedes and Finno-Swedes using different vowel-pronunciation. Hell; Americans can't pronounce British names and vice verso. I did try to learn the name; I asked Sungha before the interview, but I was too nervous, and forgot it by the start of the interview.
@thunderbirdice They didn't want to use a translator. My intention was acctually to have Sungha and his translator sitting there and then interviewing him. But somehow they just wanted Sungha infront of the camera. Don't ask me why. You can acctually hear the translator speak 5:21 and she is also Sungha's Tour Manager.
@murtwcullen964life Now why would you never have a chance to meet him? Remember that I live in Finland. That's more than half way across the globe from South Korea. If I can meet him, so can you! =) Thanks for your comment! Best Regards -W-
Most likely because Tomi Paldanius is Finnish and was/is his Tour Manager for the Finnish tours. And since Finland is so close to Sweden they perhaps thought the Swedes could come over here; there were many Russians, Estonians and Swedes at the concert when he was in Helsinki. My counter question is: Why haven't the "Distant Words"-concert come to Finland yet, but been twice in Stockholm? Same unknown reasons. =)
Its been awhile i listen sungha, the first time it was "livin on a prayer" and i was impress and my friends too. "WHAT THE F**CK, THIS KID IS SO AWESOME!!" haha don't listen every youtube comments who tell you bad thing, your a awesome guitar player and i'm sure a very cool man. forgive my bad english, a french follower
SUPER LIKE... I REALLY LIKE THIS INTERVIEW :) THANK YOU FOR ASKING THAT VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION(DO YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND IN KOREA?) for GIRLS! >.< hahaha! I keep repeating that question.. I really like this interview.. I hope someday he'll have a convert here in the Philippines. Many SungHa's Fans are waiting for him here in the Philippines. :)
kekeke :3 sungha doesn't have a girlfriend YET.. yay!! i still hav time LMFAO cute smile throughout the whole interview~ loved this!! this is soo much better than the other interview he had. >:D LOVES YA!!
some tips, i'm sure u've improved since this interview: try to research bout your interviewee before the interview so that your questions to him/her seem more natural, try to memorize what you want to ask so that u don't need to read off the paper, it might help if you guys sit facing each other and try to look at your interviewee speak during the interview instead of being distracted and looking off somewhere else, this way it shows you more focused and involved in what they're telling you :)
@namaenonaionna Because I'm tired of finding my videos on external websites that I don't even know excists. Therefore I do not allow embedding of personal videos. But you may link the video to your website. Best Regards -W-
i bbbeeeeeeeggg you, answer to this! how on earth did you have the RARELY opportunity to speak to him??!!! :( :( :( :( i am incredible sad i am from romania, and he is never gonna come here..
To all of you having fun at me pronouncing Sunghas family-name worng I can tell this: Here in Finland where we speak either Finnish or Swedish (I speak Swedish) the letter "j" is pronounced, in words such as "Jung", as "Yung". So would the case also be with German, Norwegian and English (The English having a slightley stronger j-sound). Somehow, when our western letters came to Korea, the letter "j" was pronounced "ch"-ish. For us, the "correct" spelling of Sunghas name would be "Chong". -W-
@janey1029384756 Oh I know. I totally know. But I was under real pressure here. I had planned for a long interview and to get somewhat comfortable with the kid. But there was not just enough time! I had like 30 different questions here, but I had to filter out like 20 of them, and since I had to do that on the fly, this became the result. I wish I could get another chance for this, and if so, I would let YOU guys ask the questions.
@TJblue83 well...Sungha had a concert in Finland ...sooo..it wasn't too hard to get the opportunity to talk to him..but heeeeeeeeeey!! I'm from Romania too...and since we're probably never gonna meet him..let's cry together. hahha. no but forreal :( I wish he would come here too...

At 5:54 it says "Twist in my Sobriety". The song was arranged by Ulli Bögershausen. Original artist: Tanita Tikaram

how on earth did you have the RARELY opportunity to speak to him??!!!
:( :( :( :(
i am incredible sad
i am from romania, and he is never gonna come here..
I think you'll find that in the Finnish language, the letter J is always pronounced as a Y sound. So you can excuse his mistake.
To all of you having fun at me pronouncing Sunghas family-name worng I can tell this: Here in Finland where we speak either Finnish or Swedish (I speak Swedish) the letter "j" is pronounced, in words such as "Jung", as "Yung".
