I just found your channel yesterday and subscribed. It's amazing how much you know about sea glass and pottery. I love learning about the historical facts behind each piece. Thank you for these awesome videos and your joyfulness!
Thank you so much for your kind words and friendship Nerissa!🌅 It brings me so much joy to share my finds and knowledge with everyone. I’m so glad you enjoy my personality and knowledge!💯 Hugs my new friend! 🧡🧡🧡
Thanks so much Hadley! I agree! It’s remarkable how what was discarded into the sea as rubbish generations ago becomes beautiful treasures for us to discover!
Hey hey Linda! Hopefully you will come visit in 2022, or perhaps we’ll meet at the PEI sea glass festival as it’s closer and I plan on attending every year!🌅 Thanks for your friendship and support over the years! 🧡
You are so stinkin' cute! Love walking the beach with you, Mike. I am an avid beachercomber who lives in the Pacific Northwest corner of the USA. Thanks for the fun videos.
Awe! 🧡 Thanks for making my day with your kind words Penny! 🙏 I’m so glad you have the joy of beachcombing in your life as well!☀️ I see people recovering great finds from the Port Townsend area. I hope you’re close to this area? Hugs Penny!🌅 Much love! 🧡
Thanks so much for your kind words and positive feedback Daisy May! 🌅 I’m so excited for the opportunity to share my adventures and knowledge of glass history with everyone! 🧡 Hugs!
I love watching you find tons of seaglass and where they came from! After at least a year or two of looking for seaglass whenever I went to a beach, I found a whole bunch at this one beach after a big storm
What a wild story! It’s quite rare for a spot to “suddenly produce” however a storm can displace megatons of volume in a very short time so it wouldn’t surprise me!🌊🌬️🌊💯 Thanks for letting me know you enjoy my video adventures!🌅 I wish everyone had an awesome spot to hunt treasures and let the real world slip away!💫 Hugs, hugs! 🧡
Merry Christmas Jessica! 🎇 Locally I’ve a historical sea glass display down at the cruise ship terminal (during tourist season) and love sharing my sea glass archaeology with beachcombers and treasure hunters from across the globe. While I’ve only started making videos for TH-cam he year if you’re on Facebook I’ve a decade worth of finds and education on my “Cape Breton Sea Glass” page. I so appreciate your kindness and support! Hugs! 🌅
Fantastic. As a long time glasser, I really appreciate the depth and scope of your knowledge….and your enthusiasm is wonderful. I sooooo relate. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hi there Eileen! 🧡 I’m just taken back by your kind words! 🙏 Thank you! This beachcombing day feels like forever ago however knowing how much you enjoyed and appreciated the knowledge shared fills me with joy! 🌅 Thank you soooo very much my new friend Eileen for this! 🧡🧡🧡
Thanks for watching this older video & enjoying my finds Kerry-Anne! 🌅 I never know what I’ll recover out on the shorelines! I’m like a child hunting jelly beans on Easter morning! 🧡
OMG I was born there swam at Indian Beack since a baby me and my childhood friend used to get bucket's of the glass and then we would throw them back in ocean
Merry Christmas my friend! I’m so glad you enjoyed this latest video & love to share knowledge I’ve acquired over the years in hopes to enhance the sea glass experience and knowledge of personal collections. 🌅
Hello there Vinette! 🧡 Thanks so much for your positive feedback and support! It brings me so much joy to share these adventures and make new friends from across the globe! Hugs! 🌅
@@SeaGlassArchaeology Very informative too.. I follow you from the Caribbean where I occasionally find pieces of pottery and seaglass but had no idea how to identify or date them. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
I love your videos as I’m new to this - lots to learn! I’m in St. John’s, Newfoundland. I’ve been out a few times but haven’t found anything. Would you kindly describe the places you find best to look. I know that low tide is best, but I heard you mention (in another video) that you look for “piles of small rock/sand”. I have been only walking on the rocky shoreline looking down, not digging or sifting through rocks lol. I guess I’m doing it wrong! Would love to see a video about how you determine where to dig. Thanks!
Hi there Alison! Thanks so much for letting me know you enjoy my videos and the knowledge shared!🌅 Newfoundland is home to “Glassy beach” it’s one of the most amazing sea glass spots in the world, please look it up on the internet as you might reside close to it! (I so hope you do!)💫 The #1 rule I apply to locating sea glass is “We can’t have sea glass without people” (typically an abundance of people). Sea glass is the remains of what was discarded generations ago which is why it normally requires a population in the thousands (also which existed at the turn of the century when seaside dumping was quite prevalent ) for a good sea glass beach. However their are exceptions to the rule where a specific area was used as a dumping spot, aka “rubbish tip”. ( Which is how “Glassy beach” was birthed out your way, “Inverness beach” out my way). I hope this helps! 🧡 Hugs!
Wow! I'm coming late to the party. How did I miss these videos here? I absolutely loved watching as one feels as if they are right there walking with you on the beach and I have my very own tutor explaining what I find. Mike, your knowledge and enthusiasm is brilliant!
Hey hey Lynn!🧡🧡🧡 I’m so sorry I missed this until just now!💫 Thanks for being such a positive friend in my life!💫 Your kindness, friendship and love stay with me always!💯🌅💯 Hugs my dearest friend! 🧡
If you do get to this part of the world I'd be happy to take you some lovely seaglass beaches in the Bay of Islands. 200 years ago we had whaling ships call in for some R & R, the place was known as the hell hole of the South Pacific, I find lots of Pirate glass and pipe stems from the 1700s
Hi Raewyn Rush! Thank you so much for extending the invitation. Your area sounds interesting and intriguing to me! I’m so glad to hear you recover amazing treasures out your way as well!
