    Thank you for this video. It is one of the best ones I’ve watched in the field of Stem cells research. I believe Autophagy is the key to the health of our Cells, including Stem Cells. We can easily increase Autophagy with ginger/lemon tonic. I learned this from the videos by Ryan Tailor.

    What is the shortest path someone could take to contribute in this field?

      Great question!
      The big question is, HOW would you like to be involved?
      Do you want to work in the lab? Do you want to raise funding? Do you want to be a reporter or documentary filmmaker about this topic? Do you want to set the legal policies?
      As long as you are in an area you enjoy, you will make a valuable contribution.
      And the "quickest" route doesn't necessarily mean the best route.
      Good luck on your journey!

    The premise of this talk that young blood has factors that reverse aging in older nice has been rejected even plain plasma does the same all you have to do is dilute the old blood.

    • @SlamminGraham
      @SlamminGraham 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      More accurately, remove the "bad stuff" from the old blood.

      Remove plasma yes, but also add albumin for benefit. You only get saline when you donate plasma.

    Wow I made "first" on something for once. Not surprising it's a Ted Talk having to do with Neuroscience. Haha. I am so passionate about this field and now I really really want to know more about optogenetics!! I mean it’s terrifying that you say is the closest thing to mind control because that's the last thing we need in the world right now. However I am absolutely fascinated. Maybe it really is possible to break free from the cycle of death and rebirth with science alone. I'm a Hindu so I believe in reincarnation. I can't wait to start college so I can work on the cutting edge of neuroscience too!! Awesome Ted Talk!

      Do your research on Terahertz, Scalar Wave and nonionizing Quantum Frequencies. There is a device using this technology to assist the body to heal itself, beauty, longevity. To produce stem cells. I promote this science based device that produces stem cells without drugs or invasive procedures.🙏🏻

    When will people finally act as if there was any way science can stop aging? It's getting OLD. There are videos 10 years old that say the same things. No progress has been made. It's always "model organisms" nobody in the audience belongs to. Nice to have lots of 10-day-old fruit flies instead of 5-day-old fruit flies, I guess.
