Scott Norton’s was criminally underrated. The fact that he’s a walking redwood trunk just made the mechanics so utterly brutal: short drop and a sudden stop.

I think I’d have to say my favorite is the Razor’s Edge, purely because I can appreciate the mystique of it technically being the most effective powerbomb, since nobody ever kicked out of it.

Big guys like Undertaker, Kane, Diesel, Sid Vicious, Razor Ramon and Vader could really make the powerbomb look so tremendous and explosive, but some of the lightweights deserve credit for being able to pull it off and make variantions of the move work so well. I'd say that Scott Hall's Razor's Edge/Outsider's Edge is my personal favorite.
How about the neckbreaker for a future video? The ones I know most are the Honky Tonk Man, Rick Rude, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Diamond Dallas Page (The DAAAAIMOND CUTTERRRR, as Bryan Zane, AKA Wrestling with Wregret would put it) and Randy Orton. but I'm sure you'd be able to find more wrestlers that got a lot out of that move.

My favourite finishing finishing manoeuvers have always been those quick high impact strikes you can pull out at any moment, such as lariat, superkick, spear, or a knee strike, but the only move that breaks this formula in my all time top 5 is the powerbomb. There is just something so poetic about how you set it up, how you magically flip the opponent to your shoulders, and how unceremoniously you dump them from a great height. A fantastic and visually appealing setup followed by a ring collapsing impact that would believably end any fight. It's like a fantasy anime move in real life.

Double note: I've never grown to watch Vader, Psycho Sid and Kevin Nash so I won't pretend that I can judge. Kevin Nash's Jacknife powerbomb to Randy Orton in 2003 was extremely awesome though.

Thank you for giving credit to Kane's Powerbomb. I always liked it. It made him look like a monster and I liked how he had a similar move to the Undertaker yet agian keeping them with the similar move set. My only gripe with it is that on that very Smackdown game you reference, he did that VERY SUS looking pin right after.
All in all, you did leave me off the list. It's forgiveable, but ask my brother, I can give a pretty mean powerbomb that made him cry to my mom and get me in trouble on more than one occasion.

Loved the unscripted take on this - very different but it really worked with this video

Ahmed Johnson was also the first user of the tiger driver I saw growing up but I would have gave a mention to William Regal, his version he rarely did was so clean.

Of course I love the Orange Crush and it would totally make it on my list. But if I'm thinking about Kobashi, there's no way I could put it over his Turnbuckle Powerbomb. It's so fun and brutal with the way people sell it all slumped over in the corner. Honorable mention would also be that classic 90's Powerbomb + Jackknife Pin combo he used.
    Other standouts:
    - Yuji Hino's Fucking Bomb
    - Chris Benoit's Wild Bomb
    - Super Dragon's Running Liger Bomb into the turnbuckle (that he would usually transition into an STF)
    - Brock Lesnar's Triple Powerbomb from the early 2000's (and a shoutout to the innovator, Tatsuhito Takaiwa)
    - Kensuke Sasaki's Tornado Bomb
    - EVIL's Darkness Falls (Fireman's Carry Powerbomb)
    - Toru Yano's Oni Koroshi (Spinebuster Kneeling Powerbomb)
    - Roman Reign's Schoolboy Powerbomb
    Team moves:
    - Killer Elite Squad's Killer Bomb
    - The Shield's 3-man Powerbomb
    - The Dudley Boyz's 2nd Rope Sitout Powerbomb

Great video as per usual. If you wanted to do top rope moves I’d love to see one on shooting star variants.

I definitely wouldn’t wanna be on the receiving end of that border toss, Liv Morgan used to use a pretty awesome version of the sunset bomb on occasion.

In America before Sid vicious the power bomb was almost exclusively done by women wrestlers. Specifically Judy Martin of the glamor girls.

When talking about great Power-Bombs my mind immediately goes to D-Lo Brown's version. Not only was his one was the most pleasing aesthetically, but I also believe that his execution of it was always done in the safest way for his opponent--
oh no wait...MOSTLY always done safely for his opponent, my bad Droz!😬

WWE's Boogeyman had a nifty double choke lift fall out powerbomb that he used sometimes.
Also, the Hardy Boys in their earlier run in the Attitude era sometimes performed a sitout powerbomb that started with the opponent held above shoulder like an airplane spin except face down, and as the Hardy dropped, they lever flipped the opponent to land on his back between their legs. Might be more accurate to file it under a body slam variation, but the sitout part is what makes me lean towards bomb.

Kim, I love all your videos. I've been a wrestling fan since the early 80s. Honestly, some of these moves should only be used by their creators. Example - the Liger Bomb.
