  • This was the first time in over a year that I did any tumbling on the hard ground. I also just got my trampoline fixed recently.

wow!!! i am more than ever motivated to learn flips. i am in my late 30s and a beginner in learning acro. i assume you learned most of your flips in your teens? i've seen a clip of 50s people doing backtuck but i also presume they learned it in their childhood or teens.but it just goes to show it is physically possible to do flips in your 40s and 50s.

Thanks. Yes. I learned when I was 17 years old. I have taught adults in their 40's who had never done any flips before. Adults who do fitness competitions often learn to do flips in order to incorporate them into their routines.

@@corynicolas3175 oh i see! when you were 17! in my teens i experimented around with cartwheel but was too preoccupied with drawing comicbooks and other "geeky hobbies" to actually go farther than that.i also got interested in flips since i have always been a martial arts fan since childhood.i do plan to incorporate it in my arnis/kali/eskrima choreography one day. thankyou for the reply!
