Hi, I had ultrasound for a facial cheekbone injury. The physical therapist had it set for 1 MHz, which I have read should only be used on the body. It burned and stung a bit when he did it for 4 minutes. He had it set at 20% pulse and said it wasn’t set super high. Could this have caused any tissue damage?
