I have successfully installed thirdweb CLI, nodjs, and npm, however my thirdweb commands are not functioning correctly within the terminal. I've tried reaching out to support but they were not able to solve the issue and I have not gotten any more responses from them in the last week or so. Can you help please? Thanks.

Correct. With the ERC721 (NFTDrop contract) by thirdweb the funds are directly sent to the address set as for the primary sales. Funds don't get deposited to the contract through sales/mints.
