I agree totally with the statement you need to learn Web 2 first. That means, if you're a newbie with no prior development experience please learn the basics before you start learning Web3. What do I mean by the basics you ask? First you need to understand front-end basics like HTML and CSS, from there learn and get good with at least one programming language like JavaScript or Python. Next learn a Front-End frame work like React,. Front-End Development is for visually creatives , if your a more technical person (less glamorous, harder to learn) learn Back-End Development. Now you're getting into more Python, Linux (is a must), version control, API's, Databases , cloud services like AWS and Azure.... and so much more. There's a lot to learn in this industry, and it can get confusing. So bravo to those who commit and be glad there are resources like JavaScript Mastery.

The main problem with Web 2.0 is how websites were no longer functional. The font is smaller and lighter. There are dysfunctional videos and slides moving on websites that do not serve any function for the user. If you start reading something it slides off of the screen. All of that does nothing but use resources that are on the user's device, especially after the pandemic started. They use up battery power too. I am a tech who was there in the beginning so I know how things were and have changed. People need to also appreciate all of the original technologies as well. People put lots of time and money into learning and expanding technology. Their work should always be appreciated.
