Do people not know what satire is anymore? It’s one of the most effective tools in promoting social change as it often points out the extremes in hypocrisy on both sides of an issue or a historical or current event. Most of Family Guy is dumb humor but they are skillful at times in using satire.
Exactly. That is the difference between the comedy of Family Guy, The Simpsons, and South Park versus the comedy of -- certain other comedians. Obviously, only some of the comedy in those shows is satire. There are a number of running gags such as Quagmire's disregard for age or consent and Herbert's interest in Chris, which, in itself, is actually a satirical take on the oft tossed about imprecation that all gay men are paedophiles. The 1950's doctor bit was a perfect commentary on just how fucked up asylums were at that time.

The funniest thing about a video like this is how uncomfortable people are today over a funny video like this. That's why when someone thinks they're insulting me by calling me a boomer, I just laugh to myself and feel sorry for them missing out on the world when people knew how to take a joke.
there's a metal version of "WAP" by Frog Leap Studios that actually makes that 'song' tolerable to listen to... as for the Family Guy stuff, its one of the last shows still on the air that are unapologetic for their humor regardless of how ludicrous they are with it

They steal a taxi in San Francisco,CA to prevent a murder but an Asian couple is in the back who do not speak English while they are driving recklessly and speeding. Goldie Hawn was trying to explain that the Chevy character was with the police like the 1970s tv detective Kojak played by film and tv star Telly Savallas. You could probably find a clip on youtube.
