  • Bridlington Harbour - a fog horns sounds repeatedly due to thick fog at Bridlington Bay. A red flag on the South Pier informs more than 9 feet of water at the harbour entrance.
Very late Summer Season Bridlington Holiday Resort - a low pressure weather system sits over the East Riding of Yorkshire bringing humid temperatures of 20c and almost no breeze.
Fishing boats take anglers out into Bridlington Bay, while the Yorkshire Belle has to remain in harbour due to the fog.
Bridlington Harbour is full of this year’s seagulls - expert flyers already- they lounge despondently, hoping an their parent seagulls will return to feed them.
Too late! They are in their own now and will have to shape up to survive the bitter and miserable winter conditions that prevail at Bridlington for often 9 months of the year. ( or so it seems ;-)
    Hope you enjoyed the video!
