@@wrathhhsth2522 same lol
Lol what how is that going to help if he has a knife and a green wissle makes u funny let’s see what he does now
LMAO RIGHT

He asked to borrow that cricket bat in the most suspicious way possible lol
You gotta do what you gotta do!
It was more like…
👁👄👁😒
Sees the cricket bat
😁
“Can I borrah ya cricket bat? Can I borrow it? Just - Just need it… just for something… just for a situation that might…” lol
He asked in the most sus way like he was the criminal😢😥😭🤣😂
but did old mate return it to the family :P
The most australian thing that happened this episode, was just asking for a cricket bat and the public just saying 'Ye sure', love it.
Aussies doing Aussie things! 😂
I love how the lifeguard pronounces "knife" as "naf."
@@davemathews7890 I personally like it better than the American pronunciation lol
@@user-blahblah266 So what? It's not a competition. Some people (like you) have a knack for turning a compliment into a pissing contest.
If I said that Australia is a beautiful country with a warm and friendly population, you'd find something wrong with that statement, too.
@@davemathews7890 I'm pretty sure my little “lol” was an indicator it was a joke... I don't know what's been up your as* but you are not going to take it out on me for not using your context clues.
2:49 I wouldn't be confused if this family would walk up to the tower and say:
*"There's someone dressed as a lifeguard who stole our cricket bat."*
Because with no context, this sure sounds suspicious 😂.
True 😆
😂 i would have loved if they did
Lifeguards put their lives on the line to save others, they need more respect.
This is a tv show bud 😂😂😂 life guards sit 99% of the time just sit and watch a pool that nothing ever happens at but when it does , they drown. Life guards are way more of an insurance thing. They HAVE to have them there so that they can say when somebody passes that everything was done to help but they couldn’t be saved.
@@JbBackFeeble Right mate - you ever been down to Bondi? This is not a ‘fiction-drama tv show’, it’s reality. Why don’t you head down there and see how many people they save?
@@JbBackFeeble mate, this ain’t a scripted show and this is Bondi Beach (and area) it’s not some random empty pool with incompetent lifeguards or some random empty beach, they can have from 0 to tens of thousands on any given day. And they do everything and some, in the water and on land and around too! Trained more than navy seals too! Better people too!
@@JbBackFeeble I was a pool lifeguard at a crowded pool where nothing happened (1 rescue every four years or so) and nobody drowned.
You guys are amazing
Imagine a lifeguard coming up to you and being like "Can I borrow your cricket bat? There is just a situations I need it for..." he walks off like he is gonna beat the sh*t out of someone hahahahaha lmao!
I mean depending on how it went down he was gonna do just that lol.
Hi guys
When Harrison said the guy was "launching into houses", I nearly fell off the bed laughing.
When Harrison said he was armed I was very happy but when he said his armed with a green whistle and a radio I was like WHAT HARRISON THIS IS NOT BEING CALLED ARMED

Harrison; the best way to take someone down would be a gun or a taser, Witch the police are armed with
Also H.; I’m just armed with a green whistle and a talkie
Really cracked me up
"I'm armed with a green whistle and a radio." Look Harrison, if my nana could knock someone out with her purse, surely you can radio whip someone. 🤣
😅
Come on... That guy must’ve been wanted to run like he just robbed a bank. No way it’s over a knife.
They said it at the end, he had mental issues
Fight or flight. I am happier he chose the latter.
no S***
"The charges were dismissed in mental health grounds". Are you serious? There are plenty of people out there with mental health issues who do not carry knives in public.
He may have paranoid personality disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, etc
@@jack6126 If he did have those then why was he released? If he carries a knife with those issues then he is a danger to the public, not just himself.
@@MissGarland1986 it only means that he wasn't in police custody but possibly in a mental health facility or similar, so police didn't put him in jail but he is being assessed by someone
Mental health grounds but moves like Spiderman and carries a switchblade. Hopefully he is off the streets at the very least.
If you do some research into things like schizophrenia you will understand why. In some mental conditions, people hallucinate and can see/sense things that don't exist. For example, an overwhelming dread that somebody is out to kill you in combination with people running towards you that your mind may tell you are evil. What would your reaction be if that is how you felt? Such feelings can be episodic and dissappear later, and somebody on medication can often be a completely functional member of society.
“I’m armed with a green whistle and a radio” man I love Harrison sm
I wish I lived in a beautiful country like Australia
The Australian literal set up and sent people to actual concentration camps over the past 2 years. Even people who tested negative for Covid were sent there.
What country do u live on?
"I'm armed with a green whistle and a radio." Classic! 😂
4:21 I laughed so hard at the polices attempt in the same frame as the suspects attempt
Lol why would he even assume that the police was even there for him if he wasn’t guilty?
Unless having a camera followed you gave it away 😂
(Though I do doubt it given the cameramen were quite some distance away at first)
Honestly, an ant could beat me at a fight. But with a green whistle and a radio I would be unstoppable 😂
“I’m armed with a green whistle and a radio😍😃””so im watching this man infront of me like spiderman, just launching into houses”- our legend harrison😔
*smiling Psychoticly* "can I borrow your cricket bat?"😂😂😂 I'm dead lol
Bro as someone who lives in America I was very confused why everyone was so worried. Like most people in America wouldn’t think carrying a knife on them is a big deal lol 😂
I think it was what those women said that tipped worried them, a man acting weird with a knife yeah I definitely would he wary of him.
Yea some people carry pocket knifes and maybe a hunting knife... I keep a foldable on me if I am out alone in public as I am petite and female, but you don't go around telling people you have a knife. That IS creepy and suspicious.
The laws vary by state and by blade length and type, but it is illegal in some states to carry a knife. Learned this the hard way when I used to keep a medieval sword in my backseat lol
Real
This was a "large knife" and on a beach where you shouldnt require one of that size or even at all.
And this is why Australia isn’t known for violent crime, people should take note of how well they handle these things
''Now I'm watching this man like Spider-Man launching into houses'' best line ever Harrison!
“Can I borrow ur cricket bat” -sus smile-
Thanks for hellping the communtiy you guys are seriously legends👍👍👍

I thought I’d seen all of the Bondi videos, but here’s another one! Yay!
crazy how in some countries all ppl have to worry about is other ppl carrying knives while in the us it’s considered a right to carry a gun 💀
You don't need to carry a weapon in a safe country and if you do, the expectation is that you are about to use it. Why else would you have it?
@@xKuukkelix so your telling me there is no crime in Australia? Weapons are banned because of draconian ancient laws and the fact it used to be a prison colony and they didn't want the prisoners armed
@@inibrasiumthefirst2680 weapons are banned because they are smart. Like every other country on the planet..its just usa.
@@gregorB92 that's a false statement. Plenty of countries allow private firearm ownership.

Harrison and Reidy are incredible.
I’m watching this man climb up houses like Spider-Man 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
As someone from the US, I wish we had this level concern when it comes to weapons. Instead we have laws in many states which permit an open carry of assault weapons that are intended for only one reason - and so many people here are ok with this and mock those that are not.
"assault weapons" dont exist and "intended for only one reason" is self defense. whats the problem?
@@XconnorX11 🙄
@@XconnorX11 The problem is that any whack job can obtain one under the guise of "self defence". If in the wrong hands it's very dangerous.
America actually is in deep shit. Take a country with the 'wild west' legacy of tough talkin' fast shootin' cowboys. Then add in the Hollywood legends - John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Segal, Rambo, Die Hard, (etc, etc, etc). Then - throw in unlimited access to guns.
And what u gonna get?
BIG SURPRISE - u get a country where FORTY THOUSAND people die by gunshot every year. A country where, whenever u get a knock at the door, u reach for your gun.
I live in the UK. OK - our population is smaller ... but gunshot deaths here are fifty per year. That's right - five zero. Where would I choose to live? Certainly not the US.
@@toytoy1091 yea, and you have like 40k stabbings a year...

hey can i borrow your cricket bat😂🤣beardy is hilarious
"The charges were dismissed on mental health grounds." Well did he have a knife or not? It it illegal to carry knives in public unless you have mental health issues then it's ok?
He won't be criminally charged but it doesn't mean he is free to go, he may be detained in a psychiatric hospital.
When he was jumping between those porches it reminded me of the Lego city police game
If this happened in the United States, the guy could legally drag a howitzer onto the beach
3:55 gets me everytime lol
I’m honestly bingeing this all year
Omg ive been looking for this clip for years after seeing it on bondi rescue when it first came out

I was so confused on why they were reporting a knife, but then I remembered it's Australia.
Life guard should be called fish 😂 poor bastard with that pic of him . I truly feel for him
When you know parkour😌
Him:time to use my parkour😀
Y’all are so good at your job
I’ve carried a pocket knife since I was 11 years old just to use in various situations because I was always outdoors, and many times hiking. It just seemed the thing to do since all of the males in our family always had one on them. My Ada’s had taught us how to be responsible with knives, and use them purposefully.
LOL THE SUSPECT IS GOOD AT PARKOUR 😂
I swear people bring or do things NOT alowed so they get to be on a Tver show❤❤❤

One time my dad was in the super market and he pulled out a pocket knife to cut off the top of a yuca root. Someone saw him and we got kicked out of the store.
I don’t know how different law is in Australia but like damn all of that over a knife
Knives aren't allowed in public... except for swiss army kinda ones

When he had the cricket bat I was dying laughing😂😂😂
i watched 2 seconds of this and i happened to catch the cop stomping on his ankle LOL
I love watching this when I'm looking for some action
6:10 Props to the person who wanted to help, but didn’t because he didn’t know if the guy was a cop or not. He had no way of telling unfortunately!
👁👄👁The man was doing parkour but instead with a knife.😳
I live in America and we also have people being "dismissed on mental health grounds" and it is just super frustrating. I understand mental health is important, but does this mean they are just completely free from all consequences. This man brandished a knife to several people. But he's just free to be evalusted and continue being a threat to public safety. Where does it end. I am a paramedic, and we get constantly assaulted on mental health calls that we have to respond to. When charges are brought up for an assault on us they get dismissed, "mentally unfit to stand trial." Then they get some eval from some overworked therapist and they are free to do it again. Innocent people just get attacked with no justice and this is somehow okay because the attacker "has issues"
This blokes dismissal would have been conditional on treatment.
guys whos the camera man hes so brave dude haha
bondi looks so beautiful, then you have videos like these. so amazing 🤣🤣🤣 (LOVE this video!)
The “and I’m armed with a green whistle and a radio” got me laughing
Love this
I love how us Americans are unphazed by knives meanwhile you cant carry one in public at Bondi. lol
In the whole of Australia. We have insanely strict 'weapon' laws. Forget about carrying a single thing that could potentially be used as a weapon - and forget about any sort of pepper spray.
@@EvidentlyThinking Yeah after Port Arthur and the Lindt cafe siege I'm not surprised Australia cracked down on weapon laws
@@EvidentlyThinking Mean while Elementary school in Texas got shot up with 19 kids dead and 2 to 3 adults dead.
That’s why you guys have mass shootings every month
I'm in England and I carry mine everyday, and surprise surprise its never hurt anyone. It's a tool, one of mankind's first ever tools, easily 100000 years. To restrict innocent people is a crime in its self. Totally unjustifiable. All while the police walk around with guns, ironic that. I guess when the population don't like what the government and police are doing they better just shut up and tolerate it because they have all the power and abilities to force the population into submission lol
You’re the best life guys we have in Australia
Well, that chase was unexpected! Quite entertaining.

Honestly not really,
In Australia it’s illegal to carry knives especially in public,
@@Lana-Moran Honestly really lol, I realize what the Australian law is, other comments already cleared that up, I still think it's a lot for a dude basically playing with a knife the same way I used to back in scouts.
@@Lana-Moran By your logic Lana if we made your presence in public illegal it would also be legitimate for the police to tackle you and take you to jail.
Just because it's illegal doesn't make it wrong!
