    Hi, great informative video I'm looking for a solution that uses a PIR to detect presence to start the video, has anyone done this before? Any help or hints would be appreciated.

    Looking into PISignage again. Certainly the interface hasn't gotten any better since this video was released. :) Thanks for the video. Interested in learning more.

    Nice video. As you said the setup is confusing.
    Are you or your firm available to set up a turnkey memory card?

    Very good video! The current link to the Raspberry PI says it is no longer available. Do you have another suggested kit?

      I updated the link to the 2GB model, they work fine with piSinage. Thanks for pointing out the stock shortage on the link!

    Clay do I need to load a Linux OS on this first? or just use pi singage software?

    • @DPCTechnology
      @DPCTechnology  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No the install contains all the files and the os..

      @@DPCTechnology thanks Clay. Can I have la Windows media player go in between video and jpegs?

  • @Norseman311
    @Norseman311 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Well I got the OS and signage all set up. Now to use the interface. I will most likely have the client submit me the media to play. And it will be me to set up the rotation and the client will change to TV / sports with the remote.

    I get a lot of lagging when streaming youtube videos, do you have any tips to solve that?
    Also I wonder about the duration, do i need to calculate the time of the video to put in the duration of the playlist? or can I set the duration to end after the video?
    Thanks

    A good option for making content is Adobe Express mobile app. I think it's free with your adobe account. Might be paid for premium templates. Create content on your phone or iPad. Can use it on your desktop from a web browser if you prefer.

    If I only have one monitor, can I get away with just the one time 25$ or do I need a subscription too? Thanks! Great video

    Thanks for your video. I have just only one question: is it possible to buy only ON-PREMISE Hardware RabsperryPie: my company won't share in any case local KPI for digital signage to thirdy parts...
    Thank you in advance for your support.

      If you are only doing on prem and it is just each monitor maybe just use built in display functions? Most tvs will display imagines from usb drive.

    In my experience, putting the pi into the case will make it run VERY HOT and will lock up due to heat so that cooler would have been nice to install. Without the case there is no issues like that.

    • @DPCTechnology
      @DPCTechnology  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      good tip. Case isnt really needed behind TV in most applications. they also make cases with fans and different heat sink options.

    Yes, older video, but…
    The Pi4 has MICRO HDMI connections.. NOT MINI HDMI as you stated continuously…
