@kieragirl Not quite. It's true like everyone Elizabeth chose to ignore Jason's criminality, BUT Jason is still worth 50 of Ric. That she wasn't wrong about and yes Liz made stupid decisions with Jason , yes, but she true to form of being Elizabeth then. But marrying Ric the first time was the dumbest thing she could have ever done, & marrying him a 2nd time was absolutely the epitome of being the dumbest fool that can ever be documented on that show, only being with Lucky again come close.
I think everything that Elizabeth said to Ric was right on point. But Elizabeth stands on this high moral ground and judges Sam, when Elizabeth started this with her lies and manipulation. No matter how wrong she is she never sees or admits the damage she has caused. Jason and Sam had forgiven each other and they were willing to work on getting there relationship back even if Jason was the father. But Elizabeth chose again to lie to everyone about who the father was. After seeing how close Sam and Jason were getting again. She eased dropped on personal conversations and then decides to tell Jason the truth and not only guilty him into giving up his son. Even though Jason keeps saying they both decided that's not true. Jadon asked Elizabeth if she thought what she was asking was right that he wanted to be part of his sons life. But Elizabeth reminded Jason that he agreed to do whatever she wanted so Jaso. Went along with the secret agreeing to lie to Sam and everyone else. That lie is what tore Jason and Sam apart not Rick. Elizabeth has never taken responsibility for damage she caused by being unfaithful, for lying, and manipulating. When Sam confronted Elizabeth later and told her she was to blame for all this damage. That she started this lie and watched it grow till it poisoned all of them is so true. Elizabeth at any point could have just stopped and told the truth but she wanted her cake and to eat it too. She wanted to keep Lucky close and the father of her kids and she wanted Jason as well. She wanted to world according to Elizabeth. She wanted Jason but not to claim his son, she just kept dangling his son to make sure Jaso. Stayed close with pictures, drawings, always bringing him up with no regard for how painful this was for Jason or for what Jason truly wanted. It the same reasoning and manipulating that Alexis used to get Jason to breakup with Sam. It's not really what Jason wanted and as painful as it was to Jason he did it because Alexis convinced him that it was the only way to keep Sam safe. That's what Elizabeth has done with Jake, convinced Jason that it was the only way to keep him safe.
@TrueLiason And he was right on about her in the clip as well. I liked Liz with Lucky and Ric. I really didn't like HER acting like a pathetic obsessed woman as she did during Liason. Everything about her character slid downhill. You'd think Ric would have been the one that made her worse but it was actually Jason.
I'm a Liz fan. Check my account. But Liz is the pathetic one here. Standing around judging everyone when SHE was lying to herself and everyone around her. SHE knew Jason was guilty and yet turned her guilt on everyone else. Ric, Sam even Lucky. Ric was a jerk but as a DA trying a case he was right about Jason and right about her and that last dig at THEM for starting it was pathetic and soo small of her.
