Wow...I know some GH fans luv Sam & Jason, but the look on Jason's face when Elizabeth walked away....the emotion in his heart that poured out thru his eyes. Damn....it had me so engrossed in that moment that I was so surprised to feel tears rolling down my cheeks. I've seen Jason "in love" with others on that show but this is the first time I felt Jason IN LOVE with someone....and that was ELIZABETH. The on screen chemistry between these two actors is pure gold. The producers really blew it by having Jason & sam get back together. Then later on made Elizabeth the bad guy. It's like they had to make Elizabeth less angelic in order to totally clear sam if her previous horrendous behavior toward Elizabeth, Jason & Jake.

I watched him fall in love with Courtney and Sam- the way they show the characters getting to know each other, start to spend more time together, start to share personal stories, start to get close physically and then they show them/ have them declare their love. With Jason and Elizabeth, they were not assigned to each other as a job or project that forced them to spend time together. Their meeting and friendship was very organic and happened naturally. Their connection was free and easy and honest. They actually spent very little time together when you compare the time he spent with Courtney and Sam, and there were huge gaps of time when Jason left town and they didn't see each other. They fell in love with each other without ever having anything physical between them. They didn't need it. Since 1999, every time Jason runs into Elizabeth unexpectedly it's like it takes him off guard and he needs a moment to catch his breath....then his face softens and his eyes come alive. He looks at her like he never wants to miss a moment. I love how they don't need to be together or be around each other to love each other, they just do. You could feel their love even though they never spoke the words. I appreciate how they chose for Jason to say "I should have told you before" in this clip. When was before? 1999? 2000? 2001? 2002? after the NOP? Maybe that is why they stand the test of time as a 'non-couple' because if they could fall in love and survive the first 10 years of loving one another despite being with other people, spending very little time together and never having physical contact....why could their love not survive being with other people, not having physical contact....but now they have the knowledge that they love each other and have a child together. The writers just need to get SB back and write for this magic.
Jason and Elizabeth had the best chemistry..the writers really blew it because they would always tease them together but Jason's life and business with Sonny would always get in the way...yet with Sam it was always ok. I don't get that. I NEVER liked Sam and Jason together...i never felt that chemistry the way I did with Jason and Elizabeth.

I've been a fan of liason since 1999. Absolutely love them. I really wish they had gotten a chance and their trip to Italy. This seen was so heartbreaking.

IMO Sonny never loved anyone like Brenda and Jason never loved anyone like Elizabeth. Sam was the danger excitement for Jason, Carly was the wild volatile match for Sonny... both those relationships were built on a savior complex (Carly saving Sonny from himself and Jason stepping in and saving Sam...) Jason/Liz & Sonny Brenda was an old fashion love affair that was all about people from two different worlds loving each other inspire of it all not because they were thrown into each other’s lives.
These moments are what I always talk about with Jason and Elizabeth. No disrespect to the JASam (Jason & Sam) fans but the chemistry with Jason and Elizabeth you can't compare. There were plenty of times where they had that look of "pure love" for one another in their eyes and the writers should have explored a way to put them together as a permanent couple. I think it's a tradegy that they never did. With Jason coming back again to GH in 2024 I really hope and pray that the current writers recognize this and put them together once and for all. It's long overdue.

I lived this couple so much. I never did buy into Jason and Sam. I never saw chemistry with Sam like he had with Liz. When Steve Burton left the show I knew there was no future with Liz, so I quit watching General Hospital. When I saw Steve was coming back to GH I started watching again in hope for a Liason pairing.
This was so sad. The painful look on Jason's face. And didn't Sam know that Jason was going to find out who was behind this. Sam was so pathetic. Again the writer's messed up. After Jason's speech, I would have jumped in his arms and said yes!

I started watching General Hospital a couple years ago b/c of the Ethan and Kristina storyline, and one thing I didn't really care for while watching GH was JaSam. And the few scenes Liason had together, I thought they looked a whole lot better. The chemistry was there. Now here I am watching all of Liason playlists and I knew my gut was right. This scene is so sad but beautiful at the same time!! I really wish they'll find their way back to each other--if and when SBu comes back.

She can find love with someone else, if she even deserves it. I HATE SAM.

I liked what jason said to liz that he loved her and liz said that to and she always will thier emotions and face experiences were on point from both of when they had scenes together over the years. If they had just been together and 'guarded up' the penthouse....Jake would still be alive. MAYBE Steve Burton would still be on too! When he tells he that she said that Jake could have been kidnapped for a second time & it was b/c of him....the first time had nothing to do w/him. It was random. Sam didn't do anything, but it could have been anyone's baby that Maureen kidnapped.

I have watched this scene several times and I noticed something that should have tipped Elizabeth off. Sam is going off on Ric blaming him saying if he hadn't done what he did to Liz on the stand, Jason's enemies wouldn't have gone after her as leverage. Liz said nothing about that to Sam or the cops. The men she hired did, so how would Sam know that (except she did b/c she hired them)
robin and liz are jasons true loves in different ways. sam manipulated them to break up the whole time. and yes sam loves jason but she is no better than liz or robin. Sam is just a good at getting what she wants she is a typical con.
I hated that the writers had Liz forgive Ric over and over and she got back together with him after all he did to her especially when he made her testify against Jason and he tried to rip her apart and when Nikolas got upset because she told the truth of what Britt did, he said he could never forgive someone treating Elizabeth like that. HELLO!, you did far worse to her over and over
RIC has no room to judge Liz or Jason considering when he was married to Liz he kidnapped Carly and tried to pass off Carly and sonnys baby as his and Elizabeth's thank God Jason figured out the truth and found Carly in time
fed her b/c pills so he could give her Carly's baby (b/c he blamed Sonny for her miscarriage when it was Faith who pushed her down the stairs) when it was born when Elizabeth discovered Carly in the PR, she passed out due to an embolism and when she woke, she called the cops to tell them what he did and she said he would never hurt me. Actually if I remember Ric did let her go and Carly called Sonny to tell him where he was as that's when Jason and Courtney were getting back from their honeymoon.

+santachorry Well, you could look at it a couple of ways. One, that Liz meant more to him and so he didn't want to see her hurt and didn't want to take the risk and/or that Sam didn't care about the danger. She immersed herself in it. I don't think he was as worried for Sam. Also, at the time, Liz had kids one of which was his, so that added another level to it. Now later, Sam basically guilted Jason into trying to have a kid because she wanted it so much and she was shot because of him. He refused for a quite a while, but then he was devastated that he lost Jake and she broke him down and he finally agreed. But again, just like Carly, Sam said she was okay with the life. Jake died from non-mob related violence so I think Jason finally realized that he lost his chance to be a father with Jake so he wanted another one. This time, he was with someone who was willing to risk her child's life for the mob. Liz represented a life Jason wanted but thought he couldn't have. He was her little escape from the violence-someone he could relax with. Sam was someone who accepted the violence so it was easy to be with her and most of the time she did whatever he wanted. Even after getting shot, she still came running back. Jason was always very protective of Elizabeth, partly because of her history.
RIC talking about being rashional is hilarious kidnapping Carly when she was pregnant with Morgan while married to Elizabeth wasn't rational trying to pass off Carlys baby as his and Elizabeth wasn't rational all his issues with sonny because there mother chose him over RIC and trying to take him down for any and everything to get him out of the way not rational RIC is the biggest joke ever

I started watching General Hospital a couple years ago b/c of the Ethan and Kristina storyline, and one thing I didn't really care for while watching GH was JaSam. And the few scenes Liason had together, I thought they looked a whole lot better. The chemistry was there. Now here I am watching all of Liason playlists and I knew my gut was right. This scene is so sad but beautiful at the same time!! I really wish they'll find their way back to each other--if and when SBu comes back.
I love this couple so much. Liz and Jason have so much chemistry. I don't understand why the writers won't give them a chance. Sam is good with her other lovers but she doesn't have the same chemistry with Jason.

I liked what jason said to liz that he loved her and liz said that to and she always will thier emotions and face experiences were on point from both of when they had scenes together over the years. I hated what sam did to liz with the kids being there with her paying two man to scared liz to stay from Jason and stood by while jake got kidnapped and she did nothing

When he tells he that she said that Jake could have been kidnapped for a second time & it was b/c of him....the first time had nothing to do w/him. It was random. Sam didn't do anything, but it could have been anyone's baby that Maureen kidnapped.

I have watched this scene several times and I noticed something that should have tipped Elizabeth off. Sam is going off on Ric blaming him saying if he hadn't done what he did to Liz on the stand, Jason's enemies wouldn't have gone after her as leverage. Liz said nothing about that to Sam or the cops. The men she hired did, so how would Sam know that (except she did b/c she hired them)
the reason this relationship was doomed from the beginning is that Jason and elizibeth were to indecisive. about what they wanted.
robin and liz are jasons true loves in different ways. sam manipulated them to break up the whole time. and yes sam loves jason but she is no better than liz or robin. Sam is just a good at getting what she wants she is a typical con.
I never cared for Ric he tried to control Elizabeth and she had a mind of her own, and ric hated it.
I hated that the writers had Liz forgive Ric over and over and she got back together with him after all he did to her especially when he made her testify against Jason and he tried to rip her apart and when Nikolas got upset because she told the truth of what Britt did, he said he could never forgive someone treating Elizabeth like that. fed her b/c pills so he could give her Carly's baby (b/c he blamed Sonny for her miscarriage when it was Faith who pushed her down the stairs) when it was born when Elizabeth discovered Carly in the PR, she passed out due to an embolism and when she woke, she called the cops to tell them what he did and she said he would never hurt me. Actually if I remember Ric did let her go and Carly called Sonny to tell him where he was as that's when Jason and Courtney were getting back from their honeymoon.

+santachorry Well, you could look at it a couple of ways. One, that Liz meant more to him and so he didn't want to see her hurt and didn't want to take the risk and/or that Sam didn't care about the danger. She immersed herself in it. I don't think he was as worried for Sam. Also, at the time, Liz had kids one of which was his, so that added another level to it. Now later, Sam basically guilted Jason into trying to have a kid because she wanted it so much and she was shot because of him. He refused for a quite a while, but then he was devastated that he lost Jake and she broke him down and he finally agreed. But again, just like Carly, Sam said she was okay with the life. Jake died from non-mob related violence so I think Jason finally realized that he lost his chance to be a father with Jake so he wanted another one. This time, he was with someone who was willing to risk her child's life for the mob. Liz represented a life Jason wanted but thought he couldn't have. He was her little escape from the violence-someone he could relax with. Sam was someone who accepted the violence so it was easy to be with her and most of the time she did whatever he wanted. Even after getting shot, she still came running back. Jason was always very protective of Elizabeth, partly because of her history.
