I share the same thoughts about noise as well as the inclusion of hot under hood air into the inlet tract. Instead of picking up one of the systems, I decided to just put a “dry” element AEM filter into my factory box in my 2014 GS350 Fsport. I’ve got a couple old school Foxbody Mustangs for serious knuckle dragging fun, so my GS is all about being a good quiet and reliable daily driver. It does that in FANTASTIC fashion ! I might eventually do a tune from RR, and I’ve considered their supercharger setup as well, but for now I’m simply enjoying the car in almost completely stock trim. This looks like the midwest .. with all that flat land ..... I was concerned about how loud it would make the vehicle while just cruising around the city. This answered my question. Thanks
@@786auditwinturbo I ended up going full exhaust , and tune on my gs 350 .. and the company RR racing recommended that i was actually probably losing Hp with the taekeda … took it off and sure enough I was … if you just want sound this is the way to go but the gs350 runs 10x smoother with closed factory box
@@isfdrewski2611 mostly true. I mentioned that point in this or the old. The stock is a great intake and this prolly perform worse in summer and somewhat better or equal in winter. But that sound tho
They have been slightly shaking from brand new lol. They are getting a little worse now but it’s been 3 years and time change it. I still like the intake overall
The intake shape might be different. You can do a alternative if you want a cheaper route which is poking holes on the bottom of your original intake box. Make sure only on bottom. Check out forums for more details. Make sure you have a stock box that your ready to ruin lol

I have a Takeda air filter and you can’t here it all unless your punching it … and it gets loud as fuck lmao

22-23 MPG? I'm getting 18 MPG, only difference I can think of is that mine is AWD
Sounds like your front brake rotors are warped, like the intake

The 2018 lexus GS 350 sounds like that being fully stock.
It does but it’s not this loud.
