    I know this guy very well, we played together in liberty stadium Ibadan; even i was part of the team that was not selected for that championship in 2001. When he came back, we went to him but he refused to attend to us. After the training section that faithful day, he jumped into his car and drove off. Surprise to hear and watch him saying he has nothing Left. What a life. I pray God restore your lost glory.

      Far from it, if you did read my full story.... At the conclusion;I prayed that God should restored his past Glory. Bro is painful seen him go through this horrible time in life after getting to the pick of his career... Common! I feel for him. Mine,is when u are in position to help or encouraged other; especially your close friends, please do. Bro! How I wish you would understand the level at which this guy was then...you will share his pains,seen him saying all that...

      You mean he did not invest when millions of euro was coming to his weekly... His last club before going to France was grasshoppers in Swiss. His was earning not less then 25,000€ every week. Him not attending to me or attending to our old time football friends is never the problem.... That he never planned his life on the money he was collecting is what make me feel for him.

    He was destined to become our next great 11 since Amunike. Huge threat to Garba Lawal in that position. Him and Victor Brown at the Trinidad and Tobago U-17 were the standouts. That team had probably the greatest talents the world have ever seen since Kanu/Oruma u-17 set. Very sad

    Sorry femi opabunmi, God almighty 'll heal you speedily. I was one of your followers, especially how you performed at the youth world cup for Nigeria in 2001 under 17. Most of these players have one common problem " management problem " All the problems should not be blame on government or anyone. If a person that's earning only 2million naira per annum in a hard place like Nigeria, knows how to manage his life, take care of his immediate family, it's always difficult to pity or understand someone that's is earning or earned like 5 million naira a week to tell you that he's broke or something and started putting the blame on nff or federal government. All these guys way of life is fucking too expensive ( the footballers) they always forget that life is full of up and down. May God help you femi as you already believe that only God can help you, not nff or anyone.

      Samuel A. I have gone after every lead but nothing. The idea of glasses, surgeries are just to make money. I have bought nearly 5 pairs in 7 years. Imagine how many people are also buying glasses. Tell this person to keep soothing the eyes. I do that everyday. Keep the eyes clean, also do lots of research to find ways to manage it until it gets better. My poor vision limits what or how far I challenge myself but life goes on.

      Who did they spend their money with when they where active nobody they help nobody that is why is hard for then to come out and ask for help, yes cause they where paid each time they play both Nigeria and club so what are we talking about. Looking Daniel Sturbridge rebuilding primary schools in his area he grow up, most of england players going to the hospital often making people happy paying their bills, have you hard in most of Nigeria players if not kanu which nature made him to start such by force, all they know is their self and family, so when issues like this come up they will have to manage it the same way they manage it when it was rossy .

    All, anything you do try and set up your own health insurance. What sort of eye disease can suddenly cause blindness? I have astigmatism but so far I have been able to manage it. I have noticed things that can irritate it so I am very cautious. He must have other health issues that led to the sudden loss of sight. Although I know cold weather in Europe can sometimes affect the eyes!

    • @stevenwilliams2193
      @stevenwilliams2193 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It might be Glaucoma. Glaucoma kills the eyes gradually without any symptoms. It's hereditary though. Only early detection through test can prevent going blind. It moves from one eye to the other. Hence, it might be detected at a stage that only one eye could be salvaged.

      Steven Williams You are right. My Dad has glaucoma but it didn't manifest until suddenly one eye had more pressure than the other. He had to go through an operation. I am fascinated with sight because of my astigmatism. I am currently using the Bates method for clear and relaxed eyes. I have learnt things about vision which I found to be useful.
