HAHAHA love it. I opened mine when I had the same issue. Bent the springs so they would have more force, but I should of done this method instead. Never thought of it like this.

Yeah I never opened mine, just went for the KISS method(Keep It Simple Stupid).

Getting ready to (finally)pull the trigger and buy the G29. I really hope I don't have to mess with the paddle shifters.

Devices like these need general maintenance to ensure smooth play. A lot of debris can get inside over time and then house dust gets in and with the added moister in the air it all starts to collect up and cause issues like sticking down buttons and paddles. It's worse for smokers has.that makes dust stick to everything it touches again causing buttons and paddle shifters to stick down. A good blast with a Air duster once a week in all crevices really helps keep debris out., and maybe a little blast of WD40 after on bearings to ensure nothing can stick or jam itself.

Nice solution, but how did you attach the springs to the paddles??

I taped it on and use the coin to keep it from slipping out of place. I didn't use the second one but tape should work also.
