Ice climbing isn't a thing I would ever have thought about doing but it looks so awesome. You got some really amazing shots of the waterfall too. I really want to visit an ice hotel one day! It's on the ol' Bucket List.

I stayed at the Ice Hotel last week. I don't know about your experience but I found I was utterly exhausted at the end of the night that I basically passed out. Was warm and toasty inside my sleeping bags. No problem there.

I knew Quebec's spoken language is french, but I never thought it was THAT common... I thought most people there spoke english and french was spoken only in small towns... one of my friends stayed in Montreal for a year and told me that the french language there is a little different from the one in France.
Québec is the only province in Canada where we mostly speak French. (people in others provinces talks french too, but they're a minority) Montréal is both french and English, because it's the metropolis of the province and there's a lot of people who talks English (because of the history of Quebec ^^)
Jaqen H'ghar V Québec is 80% French, 8% English and 12% of people have a mother tongue that's neither French or English
Yes, the french language is different from the one in France. We still speak with a 17th-18th century accent; we kept it from the Nouvelle-France times, while in France the accent evolved differently.
id say 70% of people know how to speak english, but 90% of people use french as their first language.
Of course, the French spoken in Quebec respects the same spelling and grammatical rules governing the French language, just like everywhere else in the Francophonie. However, where it differs is at the level of the accent - that of the 18th century - and of the vocabulary linked to the North American, Nordic and predominantly Anglo-Saxon context. The same goes for the English spoken in Canada and the USA which, based on the same spelling and grammatical rules, differs from that spoken in England. Do you speak English like King Charles III?

Fun fact: when you're a quebecer and you go to a "cabane à sucre" (the shack where they ate), you don't eat just one "tire d'érable" (the maple syrup on the ice)... you eat a dozen. And you know it's too much sugar for you... it's so good you just don't care lol

Kimorra Lucas Québec is pretty all year long except November and April. November is gray with no leaves in the trees, but no snow. And in April snow melts and everything is brown and dusty. Apart from that best place to be.
tu va sur site de l'hôtel, tu auras tout les réponses, mais certainement pas de novembre a mai, plutôt de la mi décembre dans le meilleur des cas, a la mi mars, et cela est tributaire de la température. bon séjour!
