I had the procedure done three years ago (removed 145 grams). My question is, could the prostate grow back over, say for example, 20 years? Or am I in the clear for the rest of my life?
I've had two sessions of Urolift pins over the past 8 years or so. Now bladder / prostate / urethrae "locked up" while under sedation for a hernia repair, couldn't pee, now stuck with Foley bag. Probably have at least 10 pins in my prostate. How would this complicate this procedure?
From my research so far, this method seems to be very effective with low side effects. It's also the method I would prefer for myself, although I'm still researching.
@@donaldappelhof2059 I had the Rezum procedure at Guy's Hospital more than a year ago and it was a complete and utter failure! Apparently, the surgeon who performed the operation failed to remove one side of the tissue blockage and I was told 11 months ago by the urology dept consultant that it was "an emergency" to complete the treatment. I have been catheterized for TWO YEARS with several agonising catheter failures (requiring trips to A+E) and catheter UTI's requiring awful antibiotics - and this from a (supposed) world-famous teaching hospital. I am now exploring a medical negligence case with conditional fee lawyers. But I beg all who read this to refuse to have anything whatsoever to do with Guy's Hospital Urology Department.
I have had this at Bedford hospital Mr Chardray. No pain no leaking no blood. Back to normal. Thank you .I am 76.
1. Rezum method
2. prostate arterial embolization
3. prostate stent placement
this is super informative, thank you!
Can you have a spinal tab instead of a general Aniston. ?

Yes it can grow back but as to how fast everyone is different.

Nice presentation… kindly let all know the ejaculation problem after this procedure… most procedures cause retro ejaculation. Thanks in advance…
I would like to know if holep procedure ends the sex drive. Yes or no
There are 3 far fewer invasive methods!
Do you not know them or are they not profitable?

Could you please mention those 3 procedures. Rezume is not effective for example...

2. prostate arterial embolization
3. prostate stent placement
@@azamrashid2391 I did the Rezum procedure and if I could get my money back I would have chosen something else. I’m thinking about something else now.
