Just a heads up to anyone who has Nav especially if you have a different mailing address on the personal side. I'm a truck driver and use a mailing address different from my home address. A family members home that's more convenient for me to get to on the road. If you have Nav and something reports a different address to the CRA's Nav will close your account I believe thinking that there is some fraud going on or something. Hard to know for sure because they are almost impossible to actually get in contact with. Just a warning if you have or plan on opening a Nav account.

Yes you can sign up for 3 at once. Which is preferred to build credit faster. Yes, 3 trade lines for 1 business entity can be from one vendor but it’s rare. For example, there’s no way to do that with Quill. Although it’s possible to have multiple trade lines with eCredable BusinessLift & NAV as mentioned in this video.

You can use a NAV Prime membership to view & download a full copy of your Experian, and Equifax credit reports. You can also go directly to D&B on their website or businesscreditfacts.com to order your small business credit report from Experian.
Hello! I am looking to build business credit but there isn’t much information how to proceed with the issues concerning Dun & Brad? How do we get a paydex if many trade lines and vendors have stopped reporting to D&B? Should I still proceed with quill they no longer report? I have good scores with the other two but no paydex.
D&B wants you to pay for their top dollar credit builder product to get the ones that don’t report to report. However there any more affordable options to do the same plus there are still many vendors that still report to D&B.
Hi Kelvin...interested in launching a new LLC for real estate investment. What NAICS code can I utilize (besides the 1 for real estate)? I've learned that real estate seems to be 1 of the riskier types of businesses which receive either very low funding from banks or none at all.
There are multiple sub categories for Real Estate. None of them are treated any different. Real Estate will always be considered high risk so there’s no way to avoid it. You just have to deal with real estate lenders and learn how to get creative funding.
I am interested in trying the Sam's Club option. I went to their website and I saw a Mastercard and a business Mastercard. I chose the business option and it's asking for a PG, did I select the correct option? Also do you recommend going ahead and submitting it with a PG, if I provide a PG will it still report to the business credit bureaus (D&B, Experian Business, Equifax business, etc) ?
Both the SAMS Business Credit Card and Business Store Card can be obtained using your EIN in place of your SSN. But things tend to change and most Business Credit Cards require a PG. So its best to apply in store for verification.
Are all the tier 1 and net 30s are business accounts that has to be paid monthly because I plan to go in construction which has nothing to do with some of the basic tier 1 and net 30 options I see.
I understand what you mean when you say they have nothing to do with your construction business. You’ll need funding and these tier 1s are the stepping stones to help you build & establish the positive payment history needed to increase your ability to get funding for your business.

It needs to be paid with any business account. Whether it be a business debit, corporate credit card or business credit card, or ACH payment via business checking. Any of these will do.

Your Experian Intelliscore will decrease if you go more than 6 months without any payment history reported. Those tradelines then become inactive and you use credit.
@KelvinMcNeil I've tried but there is no one that you can actually talk too on the credit card side. I'm gonna try to speak to one of the credit specialist tomorrow tho
@KelvinMcNeil it's like it's never really worked. It only works on small purchases like under $10. (And sometimes it doesn't work on small purchases) It really doesn't work on purchases around$50 and over. ( It's worked maybe once or twice on purchases of this amount) I have it linked to my business checking account and there is a large amount of money in the account at all times so I know it's not a situation where there's not enough money to cover purchases
@@rcj9611 its only accepted where Visa charge cards are accepted and its not yet available in some states. But yeah, I would check with them to make sure there isn't an issue between your bank and the bank NAV uses for the charge card.

When you say 7 new accounts do you mean vendor accounts like Net 30s, loans, credit cards? When you reporting are they actually showing up on your business credit report yet? Because it can take up to 90 days for new accounts to report.
I’m tryna personally guarantee my business credit cards but I have 7 new personal credit cards on my personal credit report I wanna know how long do I have to let them age before i can apply for business funding without them denying me for new accounts
@@blu3ch3w I would say at minimum… 3 months and even then due to the high number of new accounts you may not be all clear until 6 months. It would also help to not carry high balances on those new cards.

However, which specific card did you apply for? Remember I said the Wex Fleet card requires established business credit if you’re a new business. The only no PG cards you’ll be able to get as a new business are the base level fuel cards with no cobrand.

You’re not ready for a credit card yet. Rewatch the video to understand the process and tier system. After you’ve gotten a few Net 30s to report then you graduate to a corporate card 1st. THEN, eventually a business credit card. But you’ve gotta fix your personal credit.

Uline told me the same as well on Sept 2023. I wasted my first purchase on them. Went to Grainger NET30 instead.

For net 30 once your score increases to where you want do you have to keep them every month?

K - QUILL stopped reporting as of 3/2023. Have they started again? Reps state they don't have a new contract yet. FYI
Who did the reps say they stopped reporting to? And when was this?
@@KelvinMcNeil Experian. Rep states that QUILL still doesn't have any contracts for Bureau Rptg. They haven't reported since last yr.

Hi Kelvin, I appreciate the great info you're sharing. But my question is, do you think I may have a problem attaining a Sam's club business account if I have prior agreement with Synchrony bank; that was set up for a personal emergency thru Care Credit for my furbaby?

You’re not ready for a credit card yet. Rewatch the video to understand the process and tier system. After you’ve gotten a few Net 30s to report then you graduate to a corporate card 1st. THEN, eventually a business credit card. But you’ve gotta fix your personal credit.
