    1) plays video because Knobs, not really interested in pedals at the moment
    2) waitwait it's stereo
    3) starts wondering what it would do to synths
    4) gets to the part where synths sound epic
    5) oh no not again.

    So I was looking really looking for an EHX PolyChorus, but didn’t have a lot of options available. I was hoping for a good selection from a known retailer, and the artwork and it’s amazing used price caught my eye, but it was way back in the display case in a weird place. I tried it out, and the rare intuitive inspiration to create new music grabbed me. This isn’t always what I always expect from new gadgetry, but isn’t that what all pedals are for? My biggest problem is that the clerk didn’t include the box/instructions for it (despite having them with the display). He said that used pedals don’t get boxes, swag, instructions etc. So imagine my surprise when I see demos showing new features I never knew existed.

    Only thing I don't like about this pedal is the name, Julia had a significance to an unidentified sound in the ocean. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_unexplained_sounds#Julia)
    Where Julianna is just a name.
    Also I didn't understand why when the signal was dry that we still got chorus effect? Was that due to lag affecting one channel only or what is going on there? Dry should be dry?

  • @indieguy81
    @indieguy81 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Honestly, I don't see this as being an improvement on the original. I've never thought to myself, "You know what's missing from this chorus? A tap tempo and subdivisions!" The Julia is perfect as it is and there's nothing here to justify purchasing yet another chorus, in my opinion. Cool video though!

    • @spawn302
      @spawn302 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Did you see the video? Theres more than whats on the pedal. Drift, ramp, stereo, and random sdd a ton of depth and added functionality. I agree, snd for my purposes I won't need it but many people covet the stereo in and out. Others wanted more live modulation. It's a good pedal and definitely worth a shot.
