If an alternate way of using language is common in a particular dialect or variety, then I would not call it an error. It is not Standard English and I would point that out to my students. However I'm not going to say that, for instance, Bruno Mars is making an English error. He is using a different variety of english. It's important to make that distinction so that non-native speakers are not thinking that native speakers are simply making errors all the time.

Hi, I'm actually confused by the exercise. It says "Your" 3rd person singular. Isn't this 2nd person singular?

one thing to remember Rachel, is that YOUR is not YOU. if I am talking to you and if I ask you about your father, your mother and your cat, all of them are related to 3rd singular person. because it´s not you, it is your father (HE) , your mother (she), and your cat (it). I hope it´s clear. Take Care!
