Beautiful seeing the fall colors appearing here & there! 12 o'clock tip should include checking after you've gone off trail & got back on... I remember you leaving your poles but not losing the charger...lol... and oh, man, you left us with a "cliffhanger"... have to tune in tomorrow to find out who the friend is...😂 Happy Trails! 👟🎒🌲⛺️🗻💚
I saw on Facebook you summitted Katahdin today. What a wonderful journey and only the beginning of your life long journey. Congratulations my friend! It's been a fantastic time following you on the trail! All the best to you in your new career as a teacher. Please keep posting videos of encouragement and life tips for everyone. Well done!
Beautiful sunrise for the beginning of the day. And a great spot for the end of your day. Not much longer now. These last few weeks went fast. After following a few hikers for 5 or 6 months now, Im running out of encouraging words.😂 Lol. But I've very much enjoyed following, encouraging, and supporting you through it all. Also, I've learned a lot from your videos. Hopefully, one day, I'll try out the AT. Way to go🎉 ✌️🫶🤜🤛🩷
Oh what a breathtaking start to your day. The weather has been perfect so far. Yay, trail magic in the 100 mile wilderness. 🤗 Feeling bittersweet at this point is understandable.. I’m thrilled that you will have a friend when you summit Mt. Katahdin. Embrace the Journey and Happy Trails. 🥾🦅
Got ready to leave a restaurant and your words rang out in my head to look back and check the area and there was my grandson’s favorite toy , thx for the reminder to look back . Enjoy the journey
Beautiful sunrise! The Rainbow Stream Lean-to supposedly had a baseball bat floor, but you did not show it ... and you are a baseball fan. Still trying to picture why it is called that. So glad you have someone to hike the last 2 days with!
What a stunning sunrise at the beginning! I look back on my life and am so thankful for all of the trips that I got to do. I loved each one of them. I thoroughly appreciated all the natural beauty that I've seen in the US and really enjoyed learning about other cultures through international travel. I'm really glad I had the opportunity to do all those trips! So cool about another trail magic! Maine definitely was different last year with all that rain. I fear this year's Sobos may find things way different from last year, too, only in a bad way rather than a good one. The Southern AT really got hit hard by Hurricane Helene in recent days. “More than a third” of the southern Appalachian Trail is currently inaccessible to hikers as the southeastern United States recovers from the devastation of Hurricane Helene, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) said in a statement on Sept 28th. A.T. Communities such as Damascus, VA; Erwin, TN; and Hot Springs, N.C. have been devastated, and all national forests in Georgia and North Carolina are currently closed as is Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
The more I listen to you I think teaching is going to be really good for you. You tried lifting people up in a preaching setting, but I think the school setting just might be the better fit.

Glad it worked!! Can’t leave that behind. Actually so happy it works practically for you.
I’m so so glad you did this too!

I didn’t notice the floor. I wonder why!

So devastating and sad… Mile 0 to 864 is currently closed I think
@@sticktheeagle Wow! That is a lot of miles.
The lake view at sun rise was pretty. Do you every have the temptation to fish 🐟 the lakes you pass? Happy Trails!
Not a fan of fishing but wouldn’t be a bad place!
I remember that staircase!
Exciting time as the countdown gets lower and lower. CARPE DIEM
Didn't you leave your sticks somewhere once, but you got them back. Good tip of the day to look back!
That was in the trunk of a car. Yes. Wasn’t on the trail though.
