However, that compassion might not reach the rest of his family. (But for some reason I believe Jared and Ivanka, and his sons will get away with their crimes too, by the close association.)
It was jarring to hear sentences like "person, woman, man, camera, TV" or actions like sipping water from glass followed by applause from mindless idiots. At least N.K. ones had excuse of tableau "cheer or else" and guns pointed at them.
For real. They should eliminate audiences for debates, too. It just becomes a performance and a show. We shouldn't let candidates lean on applause lines, we should let their ideas stand on their own merit--without booing/cheering.

The military was rebuilt and re-equipped, Trade agreements were made that didn't require the Americans to pay unreasonable high tax and actually helped eliminate the trade deficite. We pulled out of NAFTA which took billions of American dollars per year while other members didn't pay even pay a dime. We built the wall on the Southern border that stopped the flow of drugs, human trafficking and child trafficking for sexual purposes. The economy reached the best record we've every had. The cost of prescription drugs has gone down-- while Canada paid 50 cents per dose American citizens were paying $3.00 per dose. The cost of insulin went down from $1500 every six weeks to a fraction of that cost. Why is all this shameful?

Completely agree. Think back to when Obama was first running and elected. I feel like that mentality was applied to him. Then, when things didn't go exactly as people had hoped, they complained about it...not enough to vote him out in 2012, but there still was a level of disappointment. 1) I am absolutely voting this year, just as I have in the past several presidential and primary elections. 2) A lot of people (myself included) are disenfranchised by the state of modern politics. The two party system has crept so far to the right that Joe Biden is effectively a republican candidate, but is running as a democrat because he's not a fascist. 3) People who can not vote for either candidate are being told that voting their heart or voting third party is a throw away vote. Weighted voting is what this country needs to we aren't pressured into another "lesser of two evils" situation again.

As far as I know you need to request your mail in ballot and vote as absentee. It depends on your state. Go to your state's election board web site for instructions. 😊

I'm so glad Bloomberg lost hard. He was the one candidate that really is no different from Trump (he just doesn't say the quiet parts out loud) and I could not have stomached people trying to act like he was a better option. At least Biden IS a better option, even if I'm not a fan of his. He's functional, and will appoint functional people, and recognizes that the collapse of the country is not good regardless of the short term wealth gains from doing so. We should have a higher bar at this point in our history, but we don't. So we need to at least clear the 'do not collapse the country in the name of wealth' bar.
biden is clearly demonstrating himself to be a better choice than bloomberg, but bloomberg _is_ better than trump. bloomberg may share a handful of trump's flaws, but he's a smart, fairly honorable guy, who knows policy in depth and would have tried to be a president for all americans. i would have easily chosen bloomberg over trump. that said, my first choice in the primary was harris and i'm glad she's going to at least be vice president.

I never would have expected this, but I’m getting emotional thinking about Joe Biden’s spirit, the challenges he’s overcome, how he’s not a perfect person, but a flawed individual, like everyone else. It was jarring to hear sentences like "person, woman, man, camera, TV" or actions like sipping water from glass followed by applause from mindless idiots.

We built the wall on the Southern border that stopped the flow of drugs, human trafficking and child trafficking for sexual purposes. The economy reached the best record we've every had. The cost of prescription drugs has gone down-- while Canada paid 50 cents per dose American citizens were paying $3.00 per dose. The cost of insulin went down from $1500 every six weeks to a fraction of that cost. Why is all this shameful?

1) I am absolutely voting this year, just as I have in the past several presidential and primary elections.
2) A lot of people (myself included) are disenfranchised by the state of modern politics. The two party system has crept so far to the right that Joe Biden is effectively a republican candidate, but is running as a democrat because he's not a fascist.
3) People who can not vote for either candidate are being told that voting their heart or voting third party is a throw away vote. Weighted voting is what this country needs to we aren't pressured into another "lesser of two evils" situation again.

I'm so glad Bloomberg lost hard. He was the one candidate that really is no different from Trump (he just doesn't say the quiet parts out loud) and I could not have stomached people trying to act like he was a better option. At least Biden IS a better option, even if I'm not a fan of his. He's functional, and will appoint functional people, and recognizes that the collapse of the country is not good regardless of the short term wealth gains from doing so. We should have a higher bar at this point in our history, but we don't. So we need to at least clear the 'do not collapse the country in the name of wealth' bar.
biden is clearly demonstrating himself to be a better choice than bloomberg, but bloomberg _is_ better than trump. bloomberg may share a handful of trump's flaws, but he's a smart, fairly honorable guy, who knows policy in depth and would have tried to be a president for all americans. i would have easily chosen bloomberg over trump. that said, my first choice in the primary was harris and i'm glad she's going to at least be vice president.

His policies resulted in a record-long number of months of new job creation that spilled into Trump's term, allowing Trump to take credit for all of it -- until, of course, Trump's unbelievably botched handling of COVID-19 shattered the economy.

I never would have expected this, but I’m getting emotional thinking about Joe Biden’s spirit, the challenges he’s overcome, how he’s not a perfect person, but a flawed individual, like everyone else. He’s a man who has always had his heart in the right place, and honestly all the hugging, kissing, and shoulder rubbing is part of that love he has for his fellow human beings. Trump supporters have tried to use those things against him, because they themselves have sick minds, and to them, a man rubbing a young girls shoulders or giving a kiss on the cheek is somehow perverted. That in itself shows you that THEY are the ones with the issues. Hugs, kisses, etc are GOOD things. They are among the BEST things because they speak to our human connection, our need to share love with others, and a hug or a kiss is the physical embodiment of that love. But why must people change that into being somehow in appropriate? I’ve never gotten the sense that Biden was inappropriate with anyone, but on the other hand, the way Trump acts with his daughter Ivanka, and the things he’s said about her ... those things are without a doubt perverted. The difference is so crystal clear, and yet there are still people who choose not to see it. Anyway, I didn’t expect to go on this rant but now I feel better. Have a great day everyone, or night, or morning or evening. Let’s stick together, let’s get out and vote, and let’s take our country back!
