Thankfully those door switches are plenty full at junkyards. Been replacing parts on my 06 and I know the TB and Envoy inventory at my LKQ yard like the back of my hand! Great video as usual!
Thanks Nathan for showing how to switch head around on motor to make it interchangeable , I wouldn't have thought that would be possible, but just learned something again! My Taurus driver side window switch started working on and off like your passenger side did. It wouldn't function right to get drivers side window up, I did finally fiddle with it to get it working again. I was fortunate. 😰😬😃👍
Hello my window on my driver side and my passenger side won't go down I smell something burning in the driver's door my back windows didn't go down but now they go down do I get the motor for both windows and a one of the remote panels
@@wendyjones7977 if you smell something burning, probably switch is gone.many films on TH-cam to easily replace, I would replace switch before a motor....(switch module)check for burnt wiring also, Nathan is the real expert here.you might ask him.
I used some compressed air to blow dust out of the motor to get the window to go fully up and it worked just to get it up and not ever put it down again.
Post what parts you used please. I own a 2007 Chevy 4WD .. I have to replace all brakes and one caliper, back light driver side and the light switch for the headlights. Also I have a idle issue that I need to clean or switch the MAP sensor. The last thing I need to find out why the coolant is leaking from the over flow valve and I never had a problem with it til the winter. And the vent motor is clicking. So many things I can learn to do on my own I just need to find the right parts on a budget! 👍💯 thank you

2000 jimmy. My passenger window has no power from my driver's AND passenger switch. But the PW had power to the lock and mirror. I replaced switch module and still does not work.(exact same symptoms). Still looking for a solution.
Okay so 2006 trailblazer. The driver window does not move. We changed the window motor in the door. Still wont work. So we ordered a new switch panel even though it worked to roll the other windows down still thinking maybe just that one contact or something was broke and nope still not a fix. Checked the fuses and left right relay under the back seat and still not a fix. What else could it be!!!!!!
I literally just pulled the entire door apart of my 2008 Trailblazer. I thought it was a rail or motor issue and I found the cable had rusted and pulled apart. I live by the beach. I have the window up for now but will need to replace the cables.

Electical contact cleaner on the switch mechanism may fix it like new too.

Question my drivers side window does not work but unlock works. The side mirror does not work

Hopefully you bought this truck for a good price? seems like its needed a lot of work the previous owner never did lol. My accord was the same way.
I did. Its only got 130,000 miles. Like new inside. But I'm just tweaking others half ass fixes.
I use electronic spray cleaner and liberally spray it in the swithces while working them.

Take a blow dryer to try black solid state relays inside that switch and it might work
My window won't go up sometimes if its all the way down. I just here a click. Luckily it has came up . any suggestions
