The Golem is my all-time favorite ship. Love it! And yes, it's very pricy. Lol!
Torp fit Golem in null anoms is so OP. Making easy 100-150 mil / hr in Havens using fury torps. Using faction booster allows me to run a cap stable perma rep. Warp to 0, align out to station/structure, click the bastion module and rake in the isk. Pays to have a scout next door to give time to seige red. Carry a few MTUs and bookmark, come back and clean up the wrecks. It's better than the carrier ratting meta of old. I clear Havens in less than 15 min and at that rate, it's inevitable to score on an escalation or 3.

You're using this in null? You need a neut in one of those high slots or an interceptor has you scrammed all day
Comin back to eve after a long break, decided to give this a try. Could you post a video of you doing a mission with this fit to see everything you do.
Yeah I can, I usually run rated sites in null with it but the strategy is the same for say level 4 security missions.
@@JAKEL33T awesome! Im mostly curious about the loot/tractor beam, using a MTU/salvage drones or not, how to position with the MJD and then get to the gates, and any gank avoidance suggestions you may have.
I usually don’t loot anything but commanders, it’s to time consuming for my likening. Best use for the MTU+salvage drones would be to bastion then drop the MTU once you have all the small ships down throw out salvagers.
Generally when I have around 4 battleship targets left I approach the gate then down cycle bastion. And move to the gate. If the gate is 50km+ then MJD to it otherwise you will overshoot it.
Alternatively you can run a MWD instead which can be faster but cap intensive.
Have you tried it with Torps?

Run an auto-targeter with cruise fof missiles and you can do 1600 dps out to 100km completely afk lmfao.
Look - let me put it like this : is you fit ok ? yes it is. Does it use the full potencial of a golem ? hell no - not even CLOSE to. Torp Golem is they way to go. and one more : you DONT DONT DONT DOOOOOOOONT need to have a damn stable cap - all you need is 4-7 mins of cap because u simply cicle ur boost every like 30 seconds once

this fit does up to 3500 DPS depending on skills and imps and ballistic control systems and that out to a range of 50 km - or 65 with double range script and rage ammo - OR 90-120 Km with jevelins , it heals in my fit with high grade crystals 738/hp sec
but what it finaly comes down to is the following
you do heavens in under 10 minutes -
the system is easy : warp in at 0-20 km then : every BS : 3 salvos , every battlecruiser : 1 salvo , every cruiser : 2 and every frig 1-2 depending on elite or not elite frig
so what does that mean ? it means that you do easy 35 mil ticks in a standart 100% system or up to 55 in a 170% system
summary : DPS , tank , range and ressists at once and a stunning 180-360 million isk per hour ship
whats the range on your torps?
@@redus2 well that heavy depend from not use of range script to use of .. i know that the max range u can reach was like around 60 ish and 120 with range torps
